Lovely location, fair prices although they increased significantly since pre ordering only the week before. Poached eggs overcooked for whole table and flaked salmon used which wasn't specified on menu and people found dry. Drinks good.

Went for dinner. Lovely meal and drinks. Got some small plates, the fish and the melenzane. Food was delicious and adequately priced.

Only complaint: there should be less small plates on the menu and more main dishes. Everywhere in Bristol does small plates at the moment and they are all becoming the same and blending in to one. Would love to see somewhere stop the trend, and the food was so delicious it would be great to have more options. The small plates were very tasty but two (which was around the same price as a main) were not as filling.

Delicious brunch food and cocktails! The service was absolutely fantastic, the guy serving us noticed that my sister ordered a vegan brunch so made sure that her second cocktail, a Bloody Mary, was also vegan. We wouldn’t have even known but his thoughtfulness and initiative was very much appreciated! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I’ve been here number of times, and generally really rate it. However, I went this weekend and whilst others in my party had the specials, which were great, I opted for the lasagna off the standard menu. It was absolutely terrible- a square chunk of really dry lasagna. I was so disappointed, it was like it had no moisture in it at all, no sauce, and really just tasted like several layers of pasta with a little bit of meat in between. To be honest, I can’t quite believe they bought this out and served it to me, and this sort of thing really shakes my confidence in them if they think this is an acceptable meal to serve to a customer. It seems to me they put all the effort and attention into the specials and so I would advise ordering from there. However, I do think they need to get the items on their regular menu up to scratch, this felt like it had none of the care attention and love that other things received and I was really disappointed.

If you’re into eggs and easy and filling brunches, this is where you need to be. Perfect food and the perfect aesthetic for your Sunday brunches with friends and family!

My partner and I had the pleasure eating here 3 times during our stay in Clifton. We had a wonderful French waitress (I wish we caught her name) and Callum. Both provided excellent service. The food was immaculate. We highly suggest trying the arancini zafferano and arancini funghi though the latter is being taken off the menu which is such a shame! Both were our favorite. The mais frittelle was our second favorite. The food tasted as good as it looked and the pumpkin seeds sprinkled around really made tasteful presentation along with the chili jam that gave it a sweet but delightful kick to it. We also highly recommend the smoothies. And lastly but certainly not the least the Pannacotta was the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had. Didn’t care for the BLT, the bread ratio was too much and there wasn’t any mayo like the description. We also tried the egg purgatorio which was also delicious. There was another waitress with longer blonde hair who served us but she didn’t seem very happy to be there and took my partners mint tea pot away before she could finish it on our first day but other than that the staff and food was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Exceptional food, service and vibe.

Absolutely loved this place. I was expecting to enjoy the food and was spoilt for choice when I saw the menu, but I had my mind made up when I saw the nduja options.

Honestly, the food was so good, so tasty. The simplicity of nduja on toast shouldn't be understated and the fritter, with eggs, avocado and pesto was glorious.

It was a shame we weren't able to sit outside, but the downstairs layout is still really nice.

Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back to Bristol to visit again.
