It's a few years since we last ate here. We will definitely come here again when in Exeter. There was a slight mistake with our order but the manager corrected this by giving us a generous discount that we weren't expecting. We were really impressed by how this was dealt with. The wine was lovely too.

Absolutely divine food! Queen Margarita pizza was perfect and had lots of pesto which was delicious. Lasagna was a bit hot but also very good. Very nice atmosphere too. Would definitely recommend.

Came in during lunch rush and the manager found me a table instantly. The manager, I believe her name is Aga, was very welcoming and helped me choosing my food. Definitely would recommend to those with busy schedule.

Came in for quick lunch. Set menu was a very good choice. Nice food, reasonable price and lovely service from waitress called Aga. Will definitely recommend this place!

Fabulous restaurant

The waitress was very nice and asked if we had any allergies. The food was amazing. However, they need more waiters as the food took quite a long time to arrive and they would serve other people first. Nevertheless, when it arrived it was delicious! We ordered meatballs and bruschetta for starters. Then, we had pasta and pizza for the main. Bella Italia offers a good deal for having a main and a starter. There’s also a possibility of having a 3 courses with a main meal, a starter and a dessert.

Came here with some visiting friends and the service was very nice and the food was delicious - no complaints. The set menu deals are totally worth it, and the cost is very reasonable for what you get. The staff working too were very nice and managed to fit us in even though we didn't have a booking.

We were warned upon arrival that due to front of house staffing issues meant that it could take longer than expected to get our meals.
The 2 staff on were amazing, even finding the time to suggest hotels in the area as we had arrived in the City to find our accommodation closed. if there was a delay in service we didn't notice and the food great..
We enjoyed our experience so much that we came back again the following evening..
*HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*

Went in today for food, usually love this place. Today it was absolutely awful! The waiter was rude, rolled his eyes when my husband asked for tap water with our meal. Not going to lie, the starters were ok but both our mains were bland and stodgy. My pulled ham hock carbonara was full of fat, no ham. I really feel like prices are going up and quality is declining. That bad, we won’t go back!
