Since Ciao Amore is closed on Tuesdays we decided to have a pre-birthday celebration 🥳 today...

The place is very simple and staff are friendly and the food is magnifico👌🏻. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely a good choice and we are definitely going back. 💕

Great chilled atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff are lovely.
The food is very authentic. I had one of their specials as a started and it was fully of flavour and taste.
The Carbonara was excellent too and not an English butchered version you might find on other places.
Overall a great little find in the town centre. Trust me I’m Italian 😂

We stumbled upon this tiny Italian restaurant on a day out in Taunton. Being Italian myself, I always carry trust issues when looking for a dining spot that has a tricolore flag in the name, but this one had very good reviews so we decided to try it. If I were to review it just based on my pasta dish I would have given it 5 stars: the pasta was so rich in flavour, perfectly cooked and generous in portion. It put a smile on my face. The pizza was a bit of a let down: my partner said it was a bit dry and that it wasn’t spicy at all, even after adding extra chilli oil. Overall, I would recommend this, especially for the staff who’s super attentive and courteous.

Really delicious food and genuinely lovely service. Called in spontaneously with my husband early evening on my birthday, hoping that we may get a table despite not having booked in advance. We are new to the area. The restaurant was packed with at least three fair-sized groups. The very friendly front of house team magicked up a table for two, and warmly welcomed us! The service was charming and traditionally attentive without being intrusive. The food was gorgeous and the portions generous. It was the best Italian food I have eaten for a long time! Even my husband was tempted into trying the homemade dessert (chocolate cheesecake) and declared it to be amazing! My meringata was absolutely heavenly and arrived with a birthday candle... you can guess the rest! Overall, a really lovely evening with very kind service and fabulous food. I am looking forward to my next visit already...and to sampling the tiramisu!

Came tonight (22 August) and had a lovely catch-up with friends. Food was really lovely and good quality. The waitress (an Indian lady - sorry I didn't catch the name) was so lovely and attentive. Will be returning. Thanks xx

Tasty food and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Happy to go back there. Great atmosphere too as it was a kid's birthday party and we all sang happy birthday to him.

Best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at and my husband agreed! Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of gluten free options. Had the best mushroom pasta dish I've ever had. Potions were generous and not overly priced at all. Highly recommended and wish we lived closer!

Had heard great things about Ciao Amore so was extremely excited to visit for a family birthday meal. What a magical meal! Service was warm, attentive but not intrusive and they made us feel very special. Lots of people in for a Sunday which was great to see. Food was absolutely gorgeous - best mushroom pasta I've ever tasted and tiramisu to die for.

Everything was so fresh and despite not normally eating 3 courses on a meal out, it would have been rude not to here and we were sluggish or bloated afterward.

Very authentic too, with bread baskets and plenty of Italians dining there too. Very reasonably priced too, can't wait to come back and sample the rest of the menu!
