Bella Italia - Norwich Red Lion Street

We had a lovely meal here, great drinks, pasta and desserts. Service was good too.

First I would like to probably thank the girl who was called (IF)I will explain why I have been to your restaurant before and I have left very bad reviews as well as comments about food and service. But this time everything was different, we were served by a wonderful girl who always smiled, did everything possible to make us satisfied and we were satisfied, moreover, we waited too long for our friends, but in any case we were served and fed. Our friend had birthday

Fantastic service. Fantastic meal. Had originally booked Zizzis but they cancelled on us as their boiler broke so had to find something quickly. Luckily we managed to get in here even though it was pretty much fully booked. Waitress that we had was very friendly. Food was absolutely spot on. Will absolutely be back !

Ordered a £12 Margherita pizza today, having not eaten at Bella Italia for over 10 years. Might be another 10 years before I try it again - wilted greens scattered over a chewy, cold, poorly-seasoned mess of a pizza with a texture like a flip-flop. Tragedy. Avoid.

Very attentive waiting staff. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the chef.
Whilst my partner's meal was fine, mine had been left under the grill for too long thereby burning the pasta as well as the topping.

Today we were served by Marco, and he was amazing, well worth going there just for him. The food was great and the restaurant was lovely. It takes a lot to impress me, but Bella italia Norwich definitely did. Thank you.

Over an hour wait for barely warm food. I would understand if it was packed, but the restaurant was only half full . . . Kitchen staff need replacing or retraining. Front of house staff running around trying to keep everyone happy, they couldn't have been nicer. The manager was sincerely apologetic. Two stars for service, none for the food.

UPDATE: I returned this Saturday (8th Oct) Fast service, hot food, perfect service! Huge improvement.

I last visited for my Stepdad's birthday in August. It was gorgeous!

The food was prepared fresh and tasted wonderful! And it was reasonably priced too with the portion sizes and quality being top-tier.
Service is 10/10 with reasonable waiting times and a chilled-out atmosphere which was present throughout my stay.

5* will visit again in the near future!
