Il Vesuvio

Il Vesuvio is a fantastic restaurant, the staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is rich. They were very accommodating to our requests & very attentive the whole night.

The food is incredible, authentic and perfectly seasoned. I had a steak and my wife had the seabass which was succulent and divine.

The owner was very friendly and made everyone feel like family I highly recommend this restaurant.

Generous sized meal, everyone in our group loved it. Really tasty, friendly staff. Will definitely return.

An excellent gem of an Italian restaurant in the heart of Llantwit. The food is authentic and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Really enjoyed the house wine with our meal. We were quite a big group and they managed very well, with the food coming out promptly and exactly as ordered. We very much enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to returning very soon. Thoroughly recommended.

This is without a doubt one of the best restaurant I’ve ever visited, let alone Italian restaurants. The fish pasta was incredible, the fish was so tender it fell apart when eating it and the flavours were salivating. And I’m not sure what their house red is, but it’s very good quality for a house. As a little plus, the service was spot on. 10/10. Can’t recommend enough.

Pasta was incredible, service was even better both the chef and the lovely lady behind the bar took time to come over and say hello, both me and my girlfriend felt so welcome! I would recommend to everyone!

Had a lovely meal at a family Italian restaurant, nearby to where we are staying. Service was excellent, felt very appreciated and well looked after. Food was beautiful, nothing too much trouble. Kids had hot chocolate Nutella pizza for desert they were blown away 😂. Thank you for a lovely night
