It maybe a small place but the food and staff are lovely, compliments to the chef! My kids loved the margherita pizza so much we had to order another one!

This is a fantastic little, down to earth, Italian restaurant.
The owner & young waitress really went out of their way to be friendly, chatty & welcoming. This welcome was extended to our two little dogs also.
We had the whitebait, calamari & the seafood chilli spaghetti. Absolutely superb quality & excellent service to boot. Highly recommend this little gem of a place. (it's unlicensed, so don't forget to bring your own alcohol).

Lovely little restaurant with the most fantastic, delicious food. Waitress and the owner both very attentive, regularly came to chat to us and check we were happy with everything. No license so taking your own choice of drink makes it good value for money too. We were very happy with everything and will definitely return when we are next in New Quay. Best wishes from The Over-the Hills 😊.

Not an Italian restaurant any more. Mediterranean. Not in New Quay. In a barn at an activity centre. Not much on the menu. Pat's chicken was horrible. Far too salty and not nice sauce. Very friendly staff.

A hidden gem in New Quay.
Difficult to get a table but worth the effort.
Probably the best pan fried halibut I’ve had in the last 10 years.
The staff are a pleasure to meet and the kitchen staff keen to ensure you are happy with your meal.
It is dinning in a safe and friendly environment where every effort has been made to ensure you leave with that satisfied smile that says you’ll be returning soon.
Many thanks for an enjoyable evening.

Excellent surprise! Tried to eat here 2 nights before, as it was the only place serving food after 8.30pm (including take-aways despite being July & a town full of holidaymakers!!?!! ) but it was full - so we booked for 8.30 the following evening. So glad we did - lovely food, great, friendly, personal service. Reasonable prices and good choices, with really decent sized portions. New Quay could really do with a few more places serving food after childrens teatime!!

Great little find. Fab service, great food. Take your own alcohol no corkage charge. Obviously makes meal out a lot cheaper too. Highly recommend. We live locally and will eat here when we can.👍

We went on Wednesday evening and was so happily we did. It was not our first choice we looked at all the restaurants by the sea (as this one does not have a sea view). But, we are planning another holiday to New quay or near by so we can come back to this restaurant. Two members of our party have food allergies and the waitress checked twice to get it right and the chef came out to check as well - we felt so looked after and like they wanted us to enjoy the food and not worry about feeling rubbish later which is very uncommon in larger restaurants (personally had some awful experience).
The food was delicious, I would say underpriced for the size of the potion and the quality of the food! It was just what we needed after a long day on the sea paddle boarding. The waitress and the chef were amazing, so welcoming with great service.
The restaurant itself is cosy and inviting, comfy chairs and really funky cutlery which I liked a lot. It’s deffo a locals restaurant and a great one go visit.
