I went to get my watch repaired and the battery exchanged. They were super friendly very quick and competent and i paid about 1/3 of what other places asked for. Quick cheap but good quality service and friendly. What more can you ask for?

I brought in a bracelet for repair explaining that I was only in Canterbury for the day. The work was done within half an hour and the staff could not have been more helpful and lovely. It was also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend A Simmonds for repairs and the jewellery they had for sale was gorgeous too.

AMAZING SERVICE!!
Took a necklace in to have an engraving removed, and A Simmonds was the CHEAPEST PLACE IN CANTERBURY to provide the service, at just £20, when others quoted £50!! The service was incredible, the engraving was fully removed, and the necklace was even cleaned for me! There was also a knot in the chain of the necklace and that was removed, too, as well as some scratches on the disc of the necklace! I am blown away by the service and how efficient and top quality it was! Very happy customer.

Excellent jewellers - Five watch batteries replaced for £30. Timely efficient service & cleaned contacts on the gucci watch as ‘all part of the service’. Highly recommended.

Just went in for a battery change. It was a very old watch my mother uses and it was a bit fiddly to do. It was carried out while I waited with care and attention to detail. Lovely staff so please give them a try.

Went in for a battery change and they smashed the glass front of the watch and offered to fix it for free which is the least I expect but nothing as in a way of compensation don’t value their customers clearly

Took my watch in to have the battery replaced, the watch is sentimental to me as I have had it for 24yrs. They replaced battery but when they gave it back to me the pin was missing from the clasp. When I pointed this out the gentleman said he could try and get me a price to replace it from ingersoll. Erm no you lost/broke the pin!! You should fix it free!! Will never use this jeweller's again!!
