I had been asking around to get a cost of my engagement ring resized and of course most importantly how long it would take to get it back on my finger. I went to a few places in the area and all were quoting weeks to get it back to me as the style of the ring made things difficult, plus it was going to be expensive if they could even do it at all!
I didn't see much other choice... until a few people at work mentioned this jewellers. As soon as I went in I felt a lot better as it was professional and welcoming. I explained the other feedback I had got and was worried but I was soon put at ease with it all and they said they could get it back to me in a day or two for a good price and I was very happy with this. Unexpectedly that same day they gave me a call to say because they new the importance of it to me they had done it! I was so so grateful. Honestly such great service and I couldn't be happier with it. Definitely recommended :)

Just went in for a new watch battery. Having previously got them cheaper elsewhere but then experienced problems such as short battery life, I now go to Bullocks to get them. I paid £10 for the battery and £5 for the watch to be re-sealed. This was done quickly while I waited. Not particularly cheap but I have more faith that it has been done well and will last for some time to come.

Second reply: I don't have a missed call from you since this morning from before the review. Sounds like a good solution, please do call me or message me with what the replacement would entail.

It was also the timeframe before you sent it to rotary that I'm complaining about, rotary was not involved at the stage that I am complaining about the slow turnaround, the slow turnaround was 100% just while it was sat in your jeweller, before I called you to get it sent to rotary. Please stop trying to deflect this to rotary, it just makes me feel even more that you're not listening to the issue I'm upset about.

Re: the reply, this is literally from the staff member I told I needed it turned around in time to. I mentioned it 5 - 7 times in total both over the phone and in person, the fact she thinks I didn't mention this is just further proof how little they care. Didn't even give an apology for the awful service, only reacted when there was a public review because they care about appearances, not customers.

Also me being "rude" was me stating facts about what they did. They just don't like being faced with the service they provide, but are perfectly willing to make promises they can't keep.

Also going on about rotary's lead time when I'm exclusively complaining about their failure to call me in a reasonable time frame (rotary turned it around super fast) just goes to show how they aren't interested in making it right, just want to shift the blame elsewhere.

Brought a watch in I bought elsewhere but could return for a full refund if not fixable.

Asked if they'd be able to look at it in time for the return, they assured me they could.

Didn't bother to call me back.

When I called them, told me they had to send it to manufacturer as it was discontinued, charged me £45

Manufacturer couldn't repair it because it was discontinued, which could easily have been prevented with one phone call to the manufacturer.

Process took so long I now can't return the watch.

They had so many opportunities to make this not an expensive terrible experience.

Clearly just don't care about me as a customer. Brought 3 or 4 watches in there before but never again

Bullocks arranged a very special gift for my dad. The choice of chains was unbelievable and the service was fantastic.
Definitely going back in the future and I don’t think I would buy gold from anywhere else.

100% recommendations for this great shop.
