Unfortunately, my mum-in-law paid a lot of money to get my pearl bracelet repaired and it broke just after couple of months... for the amount of money she paid, the workmanship was really poor! It’s a huge shame because I had my wedding ring custom made here and I thought highly of this place.

You’re right, in hindsight I should probably have contacted you directly to seek a resolution before posting a review here.

The bracelet is in fact mine. It was my mum in law who arranged it as I am based in Poland. I was pregnant and unable to travel so she took it before the pandemic hit to get it repaired as it was very loose and I was worried it would break and I would lose the pearls my husband had bought for me for our anniversary. Due to travel restrictions she was only able to give it back to me in August when she was able to visit us briefly when restrictions were eased. It then unfortunately broke as the string holding the clasp together simply freyed after just a couple of months of wearing it.

In future I will make sure to contact a business before writing a negative review as i understand how they impact a small independent business, but I’d also ask you maybe consider the tone of your reply too as it seemed rather agressive and rude.

Given everything going on we all need to think about our approach to things. I know how it feels to receive a criticism but I also think we should respect other people’s opinions and try to not take them too personally.
