Extremely pleasant and very helpful staff and management. Dealt with my watch problem quickly and efficiently and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend for good, old-fashioned polite service.

If you can get past the pretentious ladies at the front counter the quality of jewellery repair is quite good. However, don’t ask to see the price list because there isn’t one. They pluck a figure from the air, then multiply it by however much better they believe they are than you. Don’t ask for any details of the repair either; you will be talked down to and probably laughed at. Also, don’t believe that all repairs are done on site, because they are not. For my item, without asking or informing me, they posted it off to a different company miles away for repair. I took my jewellery to a shop where repair takes place on site specifically so that it would not end up in the post, but it did. Asking Mrs Bucket at the counter how this could have happened brought near hysterical laughter from her, the manager said its none of my business where the repair takes place.

In conclusion, if price, customer service, communication skills and a realistic completion date are of no concern to you, then go here. If you want to be treated like an equal, valued customer, probably best you find somewhere else.

As a family we recently had rings made from gold jewellery that had been owned by special family members, we had rings made and altered, the gentleman (sorry I didn’t catch his name) made us 5 lovely rings, they are perfect we couldn’t have asked for better, I just hope we showed him how pleased we are, we use this jewellers when ever we need items fixed, and always first call to buy items, can’t say enough good things about the shop and staff thank you

don't bother trying to sell your scrap or even decent gold here; total rip-off merchants. Was offered £440 for a heavy gold bracelet, which I declined.
That very same morning, I took it to the jeweller in Redhill Belfry who gave a fair price of £550 which was £110 more than the offer from these clowns.

This was quite difficult to review because on the one hand my item came back looking stunning and fit well. On the other, 90% of the customer service was shocking and belittling.
I had a ring I needed resizing and the lovely young woman behind the counter was excellent. Polite, friendly, really nice. I was told 2 weeks. I called a week later to establish whether it was ready and it wasn't, which is fair enough. As I say, I was told 2 weeks, but I was excited. However on that call I was told it would be ready on the Monday. Excellent! Great turn around. I called on Tuesday to be pretty much laughed at and belittled down the phone. I explained what I had been told and was almost called a liar. I collect my item and as I say, beautiful! I question whether I'd support this business again just because of the way I was spoken to. It's not a bad review, but equally it isn't a shining one either.

They made a mistake with the stones within my engagement ring when they resized it. I didn’t receive an apology but instead was spoken to in the most appalling, patronising and intimidating way I’ve ever experienced. I ended up leaving the shop in tears (the owner even told me he understands sentiment as he has a tattoo on his arm 🤯)
I have since emailed twice and they’ve not even bothered to reply.
There was an offer to replace with the correct stone but I said I didn’t feel comfortable with them working on my ring again. This clearly got his back up and I had to ask at least 4 times for him to give my ring back, again leaving me feeling very intimidated.
If you wish to be treated with respect, avoid this jewellers!

Went to sell a gold ring, got quoted £73 another figured that the man plucked out of thin air. As I knew the weight and rough price of scrap gold.
Went to the next shop and got £100

It can't be a family run business
There is no family mentality in this shop! Employ people that care.
I suggest using a jewelers in the high street, very polite lovely people that want to help you and its no bother.

Annoys me how places like this get customers, when every where else are so welcoming.
Sorry to rant.
But everyone of my customers are important why should this place be different
