Charmian Beaton Design

My sister-in-law often has on jewellery that makes me weak at the knees and every time I ask where she got it, the answer is always in Kent. My sis-in-law is a regular at a little jewellers called Charmian Beaton. When my fiancée & I decided to get married, I really wanted a piece made by Charmian but I thought it was going to be way out of our league, especially as I live in Scotland. We spoke with Charmian by phone and were pleasantly surprised at how accommodating, professional and kind she was. What we thought was beyond us was made easy by the service she offered. Charmian flew up to us for the initial consultation. She brought with her 2 pages of designs, I was amazed that my vague description of what I'd like were technically exactly as my mind's eye had seen them, and there were several variations of my original idea that I hadn't even imagined could be done.We bounced ideas around as I became Bridezilla and wanted a little bit of everything. Charmian was very funny and Philip looked so relieved that she helped me see what would and wouldn't work. We built a few models using things from Charmian's bag of tricks & I was able to see that what I thought was going to be beautiful was actually very impractical for everyday life. Designs were emailed and we spoke on skype and telephone. I am so impressed that I now have what I thought was the impossible & I have an engagement ring that makes all my friends green! We're going to get Charmian to do our wedding rings as anything else will look like it came from a market stall beside my gorgeous sparkler.

I was looking for a ring that would celebrate a special occasion and which is different. I went to most of the jewellers in the local area and a friend recommended Charmain. Charmain was very helpful she has a good knowledge of jewellery, I did not feel rushed to make a choice, apart from the bespoke service she offers, there is a wide choice of jewellery on display all very unique. I opted for the bespoke service and was not disappointed the ring was made on time and looks absolutely fabulous will definitely be using Charmain again.
