Charcoal Grill Hornchurch

Go in and I was nice and friendly. Shame the guy behind the counter wasn’t.
Asked for a small Donor and small chips. I change my order to large chips and he gets the hump. This was 2 seconds after saying small.
Did ask if wanted salad and topped with onion which I didn’t want. Put Chill sauce on and I asked for garlic. Had a real bad attitude.

The kebab wasn't great either. Lamb tasted funny compared to other kebab places. The salad was old and looked very wet and soggy.

Awful service and poor kebab will result in me not returning.

If you're ordering in the evening you really need to phone ahead or you are in for a long wait. This is partly down to shish (and often the chips) being cooked fresh but also down to how busy it gets.

The shish are good, lamb is tasty and chicken is tender. I am a big fan of the chips but not so much the pitta. The service can be so-so depending on who you get but the staff all seem to work pretty hard. They would really benefit having an online ordering system as ordering by phone can be a pain and orders aren't always 100% accurate (but not far off in fairness).

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals from here. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked kebabs. Also reasonably priced managed to feed 5 adults for £30. Well done guys keep up the good work

whether you're buying £2 chips for yourself or you place a £100 order for your family, the staff will treat and greet you with the same respect and friendliness. great customer service and of course, the food is amazing.

Never disappointed
Have been going here for 23 years.
We now live in Ireland and it's the first takeaway we have when visiting.

Had a chicken and veggie burger there. It was too good!

Best in the surrounding area. Busy all weekend so order in advance.

Doner tasted really nice with all the salad, but I must say , the meat was like ribbon, thin, and dry .
