Verulam Farm Kennels

Our staffie cross has been to stay at Verulam Farm Kennels twice in the past five weeks, we would recommend without hesitation. Our dog was healthy and happy upon collection with no issues whatsoever. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we would take our dog back for subsequent visits should the need arise. All good.

I used this kennel around a year ago. My dog came out looking skinny as hell and also had sores on its legs. The guy up there is quiet rude and seems to struggle and gets quiet stressed while handeling the dogs. A poor overall experience and I’m never putting my dog through again.

My Dog has been staying at Verulam since she was a Puppy and she is 10 years old. She is always happy when I collect her, and so I know she was comfortable and well looked after. I can have a Holiday knowing she is in good kind hands.

We have used the kennels for over 30 years & found it to be a caring place,our spaniel was poorly & david took him to the vet at no extra charge to us.they really care about the animals&

"Gardens"& heated indoor kennels as well.also very secure.highly recommend

It says a lot when your dogs pull you into the kennels on arrival. They love staying and come out so happy. Our cats are the same. Highly recommended.

Dogs came home very happy. Will gladly use again, what better recommendation can I give.

Refused my American bulldog who is the friendliest, most well behaved dog. I was told their kennels are too small to accommodate him. He is a medium sized dog, not large in the slightest. My friend then phoned about booking in her intact newfoundland male dog (significantly larger than my dog) which they happily accepted and explained they have double kennels to accommodate for his size. We then queried why our American bulldog was “too big” with the employee/owner, who swiftly hung up the phone without denying anything. We also have evidence of the conversion had. It’s quite sad they are judging a dog breed so harshly. I am just so glad I found this out because I would not want my dog staying with such awful judgemental people. Very disappointing.

Just picked up our dog after an extended stay and we could not be happier. The owners were amazing and were sending us regular updates. Our dog was very happy there. We are surely going to use their services again when we travel. 5 stars :)
