Milnthorpe Kennels and Cattery

Amazing service from extremely dedicated & professional staff - We've been using this kennel for the past 16 + years. First for our dog Daisy and now for Bonnie (both Patterdales) - Never encountered any issues. We'll be getting a new puppy soon & Betsy will also be staying at Milnthorpe when needed. I often ring last minute for availability & its never too much trouble at all. Wouldn't use any other kennel, plus we received a free night via the reward scheme - First class & exceptional kennel.

I would like to thank the kennels for looking after our dog last week. I was worried because she is 17 and infirm and never been in a kennels before. She looks fantastic and very well and I am really pleased with the service we received. Thank you very much

My cat Sassy was boarded here 6 years ago when I moved from the Highlands and many times since as I waz regularly visiting my elderly mum down South. Stella, Chris and the other staff are lovely - caring and very professional. Sassy was always happy there. Sadly she just died at 18.
I have no hesitation in recommending this boarding place for cats and dogs

Friendly and caring staff make it easy to drop off your loved pets. The shop is also well stocked with all sorts of pet supplies.

Absolutely awful. We took our dogs for an overnight stay and told the young man we would pick them up the next afternoon. He said this would be fine, but when we came to collect them we were told that because we hadn't collected them before lunch the charge had now doubled. Nobody had warned us, and we were charged an extra £32. The charge for a day's boarding would have been £17, but they insisted we must pay for an extra day and a night. Dreadful. No need at all.

Stella, Chris and the lovely team have looked after our dog Shadow multiple times every year for the last 12 years. They started off dealing with a dog full of energy, then over the years dealing with numerous medications and generally pampering our gorgeous old girl. Shadow never put the brakes on when we pulled up and she was welcomed as an old fried. They have been kind and caring throughout all those years. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

My little bunny is relaxed when he goes here for his holidays.
