Schmidt Kitchens St Albans

I don't normally write reviews but given our recent experience of having a new kitchen designed and installed by Schmidt St Albans I felt compelled to share our experience as this company provided us, not only with a beautiful & practical kitchen, but also a level of service that was outstanding.
Haydar Sal looked after us throughout the entire project, from providing us with a very informative introduction to the Schmidt range so that we were able to make informed decisions about the choices we made. After he presented his initial design he was very patient and took great care to work through all the details with us until we were completely happy with every detail.
Once we placed the order, delivery & fitting dates were agreed and everything arrived on time and all the original dates were honoured.
With regards to the installation, Kostas and his team were excellent and had a real desire to achieve exactly what we required and made sure we were happy throughout the entire installation.
Their choice of companies that provided the quartz worktops and glass splash back were equally professional and keen to please.

I am absolutely in love with my Schmidt kitchen. When we entered Schmidt we were honestly thinking that it was not in our price range. We had quotes from magnet and DIY kitchen and we were just thinking of using the free design service to challenge our ideas and walk away. But Michael really turned around our plans to completely optimise our small kitchen with much more storage and a peninsula that would free up the walking space while 'faking' the island. We were honest with our budget from the start so he gave us all the entry level specs that allowed us to not completely explode the budget and just stretch it a bit. But even with entry specs the kitchen is much better that what we saw in the 2 other brands I mentioned earlier. I recommend Schmidt to everyone now.

We spent a lot of time deliberating colours and changing things and Monish at Schmidt was very patient with us. He had some great ideas and stuck within our budget. The team were very available on the phone and over email. We are very happy with the overall look of the final kitchen! From start to finish a great experience and exemplary service.

We have been very happy with the kitchen design and installation provided by Schmidt St Albans. Marcia did a wonderful design that was far better than any other company we went to, and Haydar oversaw the project very efficiently. Would definitely recommend.

We are so pleased with our new Kitchen from Schmidt, St. Albans. From start to finish it's been a pleasant and highly professional process from their team. Monish was our kitchen designer. He listened very well to what we were looking for, showed plenty of examples of high quality material that also suited our budget so that we can achieve our dream kitchen. We particularly loved that we had many colour options to choose from in each type of material, such as being able to pick a sink colour that blends perfectly with our worktops, something we didn't have access to elsewhere.
We did a lot of research before we chose our kitchen provider, but none of the other suppliers matched the quality and service we were looking for other than Schmidts. Especially when we consider that we benefited from the Schmidt summer sale which meant that it was also cost effective for us.
It felt amazing to see the final result of our bespoke kitchen. I highly recommend Schmidt and would say, if you are looking for your dream kitchen then this is the company to visit !

I couldn't ask for a better service. Everything was fantastic for the first visit at the showroom to the day that we done the check out of the work done.
Michael was very supportive and give us a lot ideas, made our expectations to be on a paper exactly as we want. The timelines were amazing no delays, actually the kitchen were ready a week before the timeline :) .. everything went as promise. The Fitting Team was also amazing, they were very detailed, patient and perfect on the work done. They also made a bespoke wonderful laundry unit. i would recommended Schmidt to everyone that want a kitchen.. this was the first work with Schmidt but certainly not the last . Extremely happy with our kitchen initially walked into Schmidt not expecting much but after the initial consultation with Kostas we were sold. Kostas was just aiming to please he was very patient and knowledgeable gave us very good advise. we had numerous design meetings with Kostas and his team and nothing was too much we changed our minds a few times but he was happy to update however kostas will always let you know if what we wanted will not work we had a big kitchen and wanted to maximise the space which kostas and his team did excellently. A special shout out to Monish. Monish has also been amazing his gone above and beyond to ensure we are happy with our kitchen. We actually went with our own fitters but Monish was always at hand to help with any questions and Monish actually came out after the kitchen was fitted to ensure the kitchen was fitted correctly. I can't thank st albans Schmidt enough for their professionalism and attention to detail during the design consultation, kitchen fitting and post kitchen fitting.. we really love our kitchen it looks really lovely and functional. I will recommend St Albans Schmidt to anyone. And the fact we reached out to Schmidt post kitchen fitting and they were at hand to help is an added bonus
