I am sorry to read your review on Cheam Kitchens and would like to respond as follows. We fitted your kitchen in Oct 2015 and laid a tiled floor as requested by yourselves. Unfortunately, there was no evidence of any movement on your floor sub base at the time of installation, otherwise we would have highlighted this to you. We are presuming that you were also unaware of any issues with any previous floor movement, otherwise you would have let us know that this could be a potential issue. When the floor was plyed in preparation for the tiling, again no movement was evident. The way the floor was laid and the workmanship of Cheam Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms Ltd was not sub standard. It became obvious at a later date, after completion of your kitchen that your floor joists have a small amount of movement and this coupled with the soft tiles you chose was, we felt, the cause of the issue. You asked us at this point to relay the broken tiles and we felt that this was not a sensible course of action, as the same thing would have continued to happen. We discussed alternative floor surfaces with you, that would have alleviated the problem and you decided that you didn’t want to pursue these. You threatened legal action and asked us to respond with any trade bodies that we belong to, we forwarded the information requested and heard no more. It is of course a regretful situation but we cannot be held responsible for your original floor sub base.

I am extremely sorry to hear that you had a bad experience in our showroom. We always try to help each and every customer when they visit, whether the customer is buying a full kitchen, bedroom or bathroom from us, or simply coming in for advice or assistance with a smaller issue. We are always very honest with clients if we feel they are asking for something that won’t suit their needs or is not practical for the space they have. We wish you well with your project and can only apologise if you felt you weren’t dealt with in an appropriate manner.

I have read your comments and can only ask you to make contact with me directly if we have supplied you with goods that you felt were sub standard. As a Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom supplier and installer we don’t normally sell brackets, so I am at a loss as to what this could have been. If we have a request for a hinge, or small part, we always aim to assist by looking in our stock cupboard, as we try to keep useful items. If we have a part that will help a customer, we normally give this free of charge. Please feel free to drop in the showroom and discuss this further, my name is Louise and I will be more than happy to discuss this with you.

Done a great job on kitchen ....but had problems with floor tiles what now need replacing ...so basically if you have any problems afterwards they don't want to know...this will cost me £5000 after spending ££££on kitchen...the tiles cracked after 3 months.

Fitted my new kitchen 3 months ago. Fantastic service and customer liaison. The design was great and no hard sell, fitters were professional, clean and tidy and the whole project was managed incredibly well. No hidden surprises and we were kept fully informed all the way through. Would definitely recommend and use them again

Cheam kitchens built our extension and fitted our new kitchen. A great service from beginning to end. Colin and Louise have a great team of tradesmen to help support them deliver the work. We wanted to support a local family owned business and it was an easy decision to appoint them. Thank you so much for they way in which you transformed our home.

Excellent service, I now have a beautiful kitchen and bathroom! Very happy. Will be using again for my downstairs cloakroom. Also absolutely love the window displays especially the Cheam gorilla, the displays change with the seasons and events. I find myself intentionally walking past to check on a new display.

Cheam Kitchens is, without question, the very best choice for a 'go to' kitchen and utility room design, cabinetry and electrical installation, worktop and flooring design and 'laying', ceiling and cabinet lighting, and wall and ceiling decoration. After searching alternatives, we're delighted that we chose Cheam Kitchens for our project. Their product range is excellent. Their customer experience from the outset and attention, throughout the project, to personal requirements is outstanding. Their carpentry is beyond comparison. The project was delivered on time, to a high specification by small teams of committed, professional, yet friendly and engaging tradesmen. Their on-the-job quality control and ongoing daily QC checks were of the highest order.....and, at each end of day, the kitchen and utility room were left in a tidy and clean condition. In summary, I cannot speak highly enough of Cheam Kitchens.

We had a new kitchen fitted by Cheam Kitchens in 2008. There was an issue with the drain pipe fitted under the kitchen sink in that the drained water was not running well as the pipe had been fitted incorrectly. This resulted in the pipe getting blocked; unfortunately, it took many years for the problem to become apparent. We contacted Colin, the owner/manager of the company recently about this problem. He immediately visited to confirm the issue and arranged for one of his fitters to replace and refit the pipe correctly. Excellent service from Cheam Kitchens 12 years after the kitchen was fitted. Highly recommend this company. Colin would look at any fault in any workmanship sympathetically even years after kitchens are fitted and rectify problem where appropriate.
