CBD have designed two kitchens for us. The first was when we moved house. Then we extended, so they redesigned it for us. Moved the older units and matched them perfectly with the extras we needed.
Also found a perfect match for our granite work surfaces.
They were super helpful and so professional throughout.
CBD brought both kitchens in on budget, which was fantastic.
Larry was always contactable for help and advice.
I would thoroughly recommend them, totally trustworthy.

Larry was so helpful designing my new kitchen, there was no wasted space, from the brilliant steam oven to the neatly hidden away waste bins. There was plenty of storage incorporated in the design.He gave very professional advice and nothing was too much trouble. He is very knowledgeable and offered suggestions to improve the ideas I already had. I couldn’t be more thrilled with it.

We could not have been more satisfied with the service we recieved from CBD kitchens. We found them very professional and accommodating from start to finish. Robert made some very useful design ideas which other kitchen companies said they could not do. Our fitter Simon was very efficient and kept us up to date with all that he was doing from start to finish . He arrived on time daily and did a full days work.He even came on his day off to make sure the kitchen would be finished on time. Robert visited regularly to over see the instilation which we found very reassuring. We also used the flooring specialist recommended by CBD kitchens who did an excellent job. Would highly recommend CBD kitchens .

Selecting CBD kitchen was easy, although it took longer to finally completing my kitchen the final result was everything I wanted from my new kitchen. The CBD team especially Larry and Hollie were outstanding in their communications with me and rectifying and resolving any issues I had to get the project going. Thank you all again.

Overall, we were very disappointed with CBD kitchens and their service. The design stage initially went very well and our designer was very accommodating to our requirements. However, things started to go wrong the very first day work was meant to start. The fitters didn’t turn up due to CBD not having the paperwork ready.

We received the incorrect sink design and a tower unit that was larger than what we ordered. Instead of admitting fault for the latter, they insisted it was by design without giving an explanation as to why they ordered a larger unit, at least not until months later after asking multiple times. Their solution was to cut the larger unit to the size of the one we had originally ordered. To top it off, they had also ordered a door what was not the correct size.

We decided to use CBD’s contractors hoping that they would be able to coordinate things better. The electricians were woeful, removing light bulbs in our other rooms and never putting them back in. They also left cables hanging and sockets loose in the kitchen, and when we confronted CBD, they suggested the kitchen was ready to use.

The quality of the appliances supplied by CBD was also poor. Our extractor fan was malfunctioning upon installation and CBD told us we would have to deal with it, after their fitters threw away all the relevant paperwork. This meant having to chase them again to get the contact details and waiting to get it repaired. The sink they provided and installed had a lot of flex and was not installed properly, creating a gap between the kitchen counter top and the sink which could allow water through. CBD insisted it was not a problem and that their sink was the best quality, even when we showed them how much the sink moved. It took two months for someone to fix it properly and close the gap.

The fit and finish was also not to the standard we expected given how much we spent. Doors were mismatched in size or not aligned properly, and it took us highlighting these several times for them to be resolved.

While the kitchen now looks fine, it was stressful dealing with CBD and we had to be persistent for issues to be resolved, leading to delays. We were hoping to have our kitchen fully ready in anticipation of a few upcoming celebrations (birthdays, Diwali and Christmas). Their manager always kept insisting that everything was fine or by design, even when we highlighted various faults.

We would not recommend CBD kitchens. It’s also worth noting that they took negative reviews down as soon as we mentioned them, and they suggested that the reviews were not directed at them despite one specifically mentioning the manager being pushy, which we also observed.

Update (06/09/2022):
In response to CBD's reply to this review, I would like to highlight that were no outbreaks of Covid at our place during the period CBD were meant to be working on our kitchen. The only time we had to isolate was in December, after my father had returned from holiday, more than a month after all the work was meant to have completed. This didn't lead to all the delays during the refitting (September to November) but to remedial work from poor workmanship that still needed rectification. This is not a surprising comment from them given their history of making excuses.

Regarding the issue with the extractor, I would like to remind CBD that the fitters threw away the relevant paperwork before we were told we would have to register the appliances separately.

Very happy with our new kitchen from CBD. We got a huge amount of advice, patience and expertise from Larry, Hollie and James which helped us to get the absolute best from our new kitchen. Steve did a brilliant job fitting the kitchen expertly. Excellent service and product. Can wholeheartedly recommend CBD kitchens.

CBD could not have been more helpful or more considerate - at every stage of our kitchen refit project. The design (by Robert) was understanding and sympathetic to our half-formed ideas on how to harmonise our conservatory and bring it 'in' to the kitchen, and to our budget!; nothing was too much trouble from the get go as regular updates and new thoughts emerged. We modified as we went along (as is likely with such a job) but CBD worked with us all the way to ensure that the finished kitchen was as we wanted. The entire team - Robert, Larry and Holly - were patient and accommodating, resolving any issues without hesitation or fuss. Communication from start to finish has been excellent.
Throughout, the workmanship was also excellent - our fitter (Simon) could not have been more caring about detail, finish and deadlines. He was/is superb. The flooring was completed brilliantly - not an easy task in our house, with undulating floor levels causing problems. The fitter - Ben - could not have been more painstaking and determined to get it right. The quartz worktop and electrical updates have also been undertaken without any hiccups - really great workmanship.
All in all, we could not be more pleased with the outcomes. Thanks to the outstanding CBD team, our home and the kitchen space have been transformed. All on time, all to a high standard and all within budget.
Highly recommended - a great company with super people in whom - justifiable - we have total confidence.

Superb design service backed up by professional installation has resulted in a kitchen that has surpassed my expectations - just so pleased with it. Larry and Robert are to be congratulated along with the installation team. Cant recommend highly enough.
