Paines & Gray

Used Paines & Gray as was looking for a more personal service which the large suppliers do not provide. We was not disappointed, Jim was very helpful and very happy to visit at anytime to go through the ongoing design, very friendly and went out of his way to ensure we where happy with the finished kitchen. We where more than happy and the quality of kitchen is excellent even our builder thought it was a top quality product

I've worked with these guys for ages, really good and totally professional - they provide good technical plans and nothing is to much trouble for them- Selling the same kitchens as John Lewis is a great selling point that all my customers love!! Good luck Andrew and Jim - you deserve it!!

Prior to going to Paines and Gray, a local little showroom that we didn't know existed but were lucky enough to stumble upon; my boyfriend and I exhausted a long list of other kitchen companies including all of the usual large scale chain companies plus several smaller independant companies in the local area.

Once we walked into P&G our decision was easily made. Compared to others we had viewed, their kitchens sat comfortably in the middle from a price point, however from a quality perspective their product felt second to none and much better quality than some others we viewed with much higher price tags attached.

Andrew and Jim who run the company cannot do enough to help you and are both lovely guys who are very easy to talk to. Andrew, who designed our kitchen paid such attention to detail and was full of useful tips but was never pushey in that annoying salesman way to try and get more money out of you. He just wanted us to have a nice kitchen that met our needs!

All in all the experience was a pleasure from beginning to end. There was even follow up contact to ensure that the kitchen had arrived fine, looked okay and that there had been no issues. It seemed to be out of genuine interest on Andrews part rather than because a reminder in an automated diary had told them to do so. He seemed to genuinely care and understandably so, he appeared to take great pride in his product. It all felt very personal as should be expected from a small local business and we could not fault the kitchen itself or the service that came along with it including aftercare.

If you are on the fence about using Paines and Gray ... get off it! Walking into that shop was undoubtably one of the best decisions we ever made! Although arguably a few pennies more than an IKEA kitchen; although not as much as you might think; the products are not in the same league in regards to quality and the same can be said for the service. If we were ever in a position where the kitchen needed doing again we wouldnt even consider using anyone else.

We are delighted with our new kitchen, purchased from Paines and Gray. All their staff are lovely and Andrew, our main contact, was excellent in designing our kitchen and then always being there for us but never pushy as we made our decisions on the details and deciding whether we wanted to proceed to purchase. Their kitchens are very high quality and their quality control is excellent, ensuring that all component parts are perfect.
