Great place to visit at weekends for a lovely walk along the coast and if you are adventurous then also a walk out onto the mud flats. You can go around to the test area used by the MOD and see steel plates used for target practice. And a perfect place for photographing sunsets. The abandoned tier near the steps makes for a wonderful setting for moody photos.

Fascinating ancient byway across the sands. Great views of saltmarsh and coastal wall. Make you sure you check if Red Flags are up first or you won't get access onto MOD land.

One of my go to places to clear the mind. Has a small beach, not a glamorous beach but is great for smaller children for crabbing and wildlife watching. A perfect spot to go to avoid the London travellers. Also, a great place of historic history in relation to the cold war and before and a great place to go to watch meteor showers. Would highly recommend.
