King Acre Landscaping Centre

Awful! After waiting months for a simple order to come in, I was told each week 'It will definitely be next week' and of course this never happened. Ended up giving up and not going back. A complete lack of a courteous, professional manner over the telephone, and only once in the 10+ weeks this went on did they actually ring me. Wish I hadn't bothered. Avoid.

Although a good display on site, delivery is something else. I ordered an oval piccolo patio on 15 July 2020, was told it would take about three weeks, if it came in earlier they would ring me to let me know. After three weeks I contacted them, they said it would probably be in "next Friday". That Friday came , no sign of the oval patio. We were told again probably " next Friday" . That Friday has come and gone also.I rang them to be told it would definitely be in on the Monday ie yesterday. My wife rang them this morning and was told" give me an hour and I will find out what's happening". Heard nothing after that, decided to go and find out for myself. Spoke with a gentleman there and gave him the history of our problem ie " I have recently been diagnosed with cancer and have been trying to get my garden sorted out to make it easier for my wife in the event of matters taking a turn for the worse. I wanted to do as much as I could whilst I was still relatively fit and able to. I indicated that whatever assistance they could give in getting this oval patio to us would be appreciated." I was told by the gentleman that he would find out and call me before the end of the day! End of day came but no telephone call. Very disappointed with the very poor level of customer service displayed. A telephone call to put the customer in the picture would have clearly been appreciated and cost very little. I don't know if this will bring any result but remain hopeful.
Following on from the above I am glad to say my faith in my fellow man has been restored. The piccolo oval patio slabs arrived at lunch time next day following a telephone call from them to say it was here and could they deliver it. A big thank you and much appreciated.

I went to ask if they had to 2 bags of jumbo bags of aggregate. I was told that the system said there were 2 available but the man behind the screen thought they only had one....he didn't go and check as I suspect that would have taken too much effort.

I went back.today to find out there were 2 bags available but they had just sold 1. Absolutely no idea of how to deal with customers and no impetus to gain sales. Sadly disappointed as I like to shop as locally as I can.

I had a reasonably good experience dealing with Pontarddulais Centre last year, so again I ordered just 8 slabs to replace crumbling steps. Initially I was told that delivery is about 6 weeks, which is a norm for King Acre. That's fine as I had to prepare site. But 14 weeks and 3 unfulfilled delivery dates later I was told again that my slabs MAY come next week. I asked for a refund, and no problem with that! No care for sale business. Be prepared to waste your time.

I am delighted with my new gazebo, decking and landscaping. My neighbours are so envious. The quality of his work is exemplary as is his work ethic. I cannot praise him enough.

Great place great guys buy all my slabs from there I don't understand how mark and mark run it with just 2 of them they are amazing the both of them the company do not see how hard these boys work
