Louise is really lovely and friendly. Currently having IPL laser skin resurfacing treatments and so far so good, recommend to friends ☺️

Louise is really cool and think she is professional at what she does. I don't really know if laser hair removal really works like you see in adverts, but I've made more progress with Louise than any other beautician. She gets straight to it. I like the salon and find it clean and away from everything.

Louise was great and made me feel relaxed prior to the treatment.

Disappointed doesn't come close to how I feel. Probably the worst, most uninformative treatment I've ever had.

-The girl who did my treatment was sweet but had zero knowledge about skin.

-There was no consultation, she didn't ask me about my current routine, what I'm using, past facials, medication, SPF usage, supplements, diet, no questions at all.

-No skin analysis, she didn't even have a lamp with a light to look properly at my skin.

-She didn't explain how the treatment worked, or show me anything, just started and I had to ask what she was doing and what she was using.

-I have quite dry skin but she used a mask for oily skin.

-no aftercare given, what to do or not do after the treatment.

-I asked for reccomendations for products to treat pigmentation, she said there aren't any products that work so just use a moisturiser with SPF. I couldn't believe it!

-my skin felt dry when I left, I went home washed my face and applied a nourishing balm.

This place should be ashamed to call itself The "Skin Care" Company.
There's a reason it's priced the way it is. The website looks great but the reality is very different.

This was definitely a paint by numbers routine, less than amature, no client care, no tailoring to client needs, poor knowledge.

Avoid at all costs.

I had a carbon laser facial here, it was really good and Louise is very professional. Would definitely recommend this place!

Would not recommend this place, very unprofessional and amateur. I attended the Ipswich salon today (can’t call it a clinic) after having travelled 45 minutes from Colchester. On their website they claim to have a Colchester salon, they don’t. I was greeted by someone I assumed was the receptionist. I don’t know her name as she never introduced herself. Her first question was ‘do you have any questions’. I asked her to explain about the laser skin resurfacing and she gave me a vague explanation on what it can treat. She didn’t examine my skin or ask me any in-depth questions, just what I’d like the laser to treat. She also gave me a leaflet with some deals on it. She said I’d need a patch test which I agreed to and she said I’d need to rebook this for another day as she was fully booked (find that hard to believe). I told her I had travelled from Colchester and that I didn’t want to come back, and after having a 5 minute conversation couldn’t she do the patch test now. She said no. She said she was the person I had spoken to on email so she knew I had travelled from Colchester. I’m not sure why we couldn’t have had the 5 minute ‘consultation’ over the telephone or Zoom. I had no intention of driving all the way back for a patch test. Upon reflection I am glad I didn’t have the test, she certainly didn’t install any confidence in me and I would not want someone so unprofessional and blasé putting a laser anywhere near my face. There’s a reason this place is cheap and I will find a proper aesthetic clinic in future, it’s just not worth the risk. The salon is a scruffy too, I’d strongly advise people to go elsewhere.

I'm afraid I can't agree with some of the other reviews. I found this place to be a formulaic franchise more concerned about its own processes than the customer. Perhaps it was a bad day for them. But I'd suggest you consider spending your £49 elsewhere.
