Bishops Cleeve Laundrette

Very clean tidy inside and friendly helpful staff. We were able to park our Motorhome outside and visit the local grocers ( also very friendly and helpful) while our washing was being done.
Prices are no more than any other launderette
You will need the new £1 coins though for the machines, but the staff were able to change our old ones for us.

This Laundrette is set in the heart of the busy village of Bishops Cleeve. It offers free 2 hour parking right outside the shop which hosts a light and airy environment. It is staffed between 9.00am and 3.00pm by helpful and cheerful staff who will provide change and assist with the operation of the efficient washing and drying machines. Staff also provide a "Service Wash/Dry" facility for those of us who are too busy to hang around. Prices are comparable with those in around the Cheltenham area and given the fact that the laundrette uses high quality cleaning and conditioning products (Ariel & Lenor), costs are quite reasonable. - Recommended.

We use a lot of launderettes when on our travels and unfortunately this was one of the worst. We found it expensive and the driers we used were very poor. Normally costs us about £15. But £24 here.

When I visited about 3 weeks ago, opening times were 7am-7pm every day. Only staffed part time; 9am-2pm I think. Change is required, £1 coins the most useful. There is a 'pay centre' machine which does give change for coins. All the washing machines have automatic injection of detergent so no need to bring your own. Although I used machine 7 and it looked like there was no detergent during the wash cycle (no suds). Steps up to the front door so no wheelchair access. Free parking for 2 hours close by but the car park can be busy. No refunds under any circumstances.
