Rivermead Launderette

Nice clean launderette, looks well maintained. There are 5 small machines at £4.00, 2 medium machines at £5.20 and 1 large machine at £6.60, plus 6 dryers at £1 for 10 mins (as at 14/8/16). Soap powder is available for 40p. There's also a change machine but just bring plenty of £1 and 20p coins! Although unmanned, there's an emergency contact number on the wall so you can phone for help (one of the machines wouldn't start so the owner came down and refunded my £5.20). So glad the opening hours are extended into the evening! Close at 9pm so last wash is 8pm.

Clean launderette and good machines. Everything takes the same two type of coins (£1 and 20p) with change available on-site.
No facility to change notes. Large machine is £6.60 and takes around 40 minutes. The driers take £1 for 10 mins with 20 mins being enough for a large load. The free parking nearby (1 hour) is long enough for a wash load and dry, plus they will ignore the extra if they realise you are at the launderette.
Currently no service washes, so bring a book:-)

Excellent place to get the washing and drying done. Clean facilities with all appliances in good working order. Free parking around the back for up to an hour but be warned, after an hour you have to pay a whole day rate which you don't want to do as it is more like a fine rate.

Besides that, I will be coming here every week from now on as I am currently in a position where I cannot wash my clothes as I am temporarily without a residence.

Clean and quick but a little to expensive for the smallest machines

I use this laundrette on a weekly basis. Free parking around back. Washing machines and dryers are good and the shop is very clean. Change machine onsite. Would recommend without hesitation.

Been using this place for the last couple of weeks now and honestly would recommend. Price isn't that bad tbh. Machines are very efficient, easy to use and very quick. The place is very very clean also :)

Rivermead Laundrette has been my local laundrette for years. The tumble dryers are very efficient, dry one load of small washing in about minutes, much quicker then the household dryers.

Good launderette. First time of using. Washed my bed cover well. The only crititism i have is that i feel it is quite expensive to use and the dryers are costly too.
