St John's Launderette

My first time in a launderette. Impressed with how clean it is, machines are fast and efficient. I washed my items at home and came to use the tumble dryers. I paid £2 for 20 minutes drying and that was ample. I will be back. This is going to save me over the winter. No more damp washing hanging around :-)

Excellent launderette. Easily gets 5 stars...
How can the owner better it?
They can't as it is perfect for a launderette, very good value {not suggesting the prices should go up}
Just one point though.... It would be handy to have a change machine in the launderette so you could get change for the machines, apart from that it's excellent and so handy having it there.

John's assistance was invaluable. He provided the change and laundry soap that I needed. John even recommended a nearby pub, the Peasant, where I had an excellent dinner of Aubergine Schnitzel while I waited. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks John!

It's OK but!!! If you like spending a bit of coin then go for it. It is clean, well maintained as you would expect and quite well kitted out.
Convenience is what you pay for, you can do a weeks washing in about 2.5 hours.

nice and clean pleasant atmosphere, had a few people asking how to use the machines stayed for around two hours had a lot of washing to do lol large family !
cost is lower than most public washing facilities and you take your own detergent to use

It was my first time there. Called earlier to get information. Customer service was outstanding. The place itself is very clean, machines are great and managed to do a lot , I mean, a lot if drying, in 2 machines for £6. Very efficient machines.

I shall be going back there regularly to dry my clothes and get my quilts cleaned and dried..

Large wash £6.50, smaller wash £5.50 quick wash just takes 20 mins. Need to have plenty of £1 £2 or 50ps if you want to use washer and dryer. Parking outside is tricky but on road there is 1 hour free parking
