Stephendale Launderette

DO NOT USE. Nearly set Restaurant on fire.

I left a bag of tea towels from a restaurant to be washed and dried with them, some of which were oily. When I picked it up the bag was very hot, I thought this was because it had just come out of the dryer.
I got back to the restaurant and left the bag downstairs, within 5 mins the fire alarm went off and smoke was pouring up the stairs. I ran downstairs to find the bag on fire. Luckily I was able to put the fire out quickly thanks to the alarm, had I left the bag and not been in the restaurant the whole place would have gone up in flames.
They had obviously not washed the tea towels properly, leaving oil on them and then putting them in the dryer at too high a heat, resulting in the oil heating up and burning the tea towel.

I went back to the laundrette to ask for an apology and a refund but the owner told me that it had nothing to do with them. He was completely dismissive and did not acknowledge any wrong doing on his end. He wouldn't come to any form of compromise, handling the matter with complete arrogance.

Please do not use them

What a strange and unhelpful man. Popped in to ask if they washed duvets, a pretty simple question for most. He responded in half broken english half mime, pointing to his eye saying he needs to see it. I explained that it was a normal duvet, but his response didn't change. I asked if he could give me a rough indication of price, but of course he couldn't. Don't bother with this place, go to a professional outfit.

Great and professional service. I regularly go there to do my washing and I am very satisfied with the service. Great value for money too.

They close for self service. All the machines not work . For them service take time 2 to 3 day with Launderette

Awful service. Rudest man running the launderette.
Lost clothes of mine and ruined other items of clothing. Spoken to a number of people in the area with similar experiences.

Good, I dropped off my duvet in the morning and it was ready in the afternoon. All good.

It's a laundrette does what it is supposed to do ...
Bit messy but the owner did my washing then charged on collection ...
