Lea's Launderette

The launderette is clean but come on, £5 for a 30 minute wash is quite a lot then £3 to dry them. A bit over the top.

One of the few in Folkestone kent clean and tidy machines are a fiver a wash. The big washing machine is ten pounds. Tumble dryer are on average about 2pound if not loaded to much but you can pay as you go with them. Should have a small television on the wall even if they leave the news on because it can get boring

They are just wonderful, lovely people who will do anything to help, I love going there every week and spend an hour just for the craic, top people, respect 👍

Very clean well kept Launderette. Management, when seen, very helpful.
Number given by Google no longer applicable, so will not answer.
Machines use a prewash so capsules not really suitable. If using capsules you need to top up with some extra detergent before main wash.
Warm wash about 33 minutes, hot wash, surprisingly, only 37.
Could do with more information on walls about machines. eg:
The temperatures of the programmes.
The ratios of detergent required for prewash and wash.
The spin speeds.
On a warm wash, the clothes come out still much damper than with a 1200 rpm domestic machine.
On street parking is limited, but free, outside.

Washing machines all working well, but the Launderette was let down with 3 dryers not working not good.
