Bubbles Launderette

Amazing launderette, super friendly staff who are extremely helpful. Love the fact its open 7 days a week and the machines are easy and simple to use.

Fantastic, our washing machine broke down, no way of replacing it during lockdown, so Bubbles to the rescue. Booked a service wash, collected from home at the time advised and delivered back promptly. Brilliant service, quality wash and folded perfectly. Thank You Bubbles!

Everyone in the Bubbles team do an amazing job; from Anna and the team doing the service wash, to Phil dropping off (for free!), to Mark. They are always very friendly and go above and beyond to get the job done quickly without compromising on the quality of the cleaning. I use their service to clean bedding etc from my elderly parents and their service has been a lifesaver. A huge thank you to the whole team Caron

Bubbles laundrette is awesome. They big machines, medium & small - from 22kg to 8kg. You can literally wash your duvets. There are super efficient dryers - you only need to put them on for 2 x 10 mins on high with full loads. You can buy laundry soap if needed (I brought my own) & softener. It costs £8 - £5 per load and £1 per 10 mins on the dryers. Bubbles isn't hi-tech so bring £1 coins!! as no card payments possible. M-F you can leave your laundry & come back later and the lovely assistant will wash them (at a cost). My daughter accidentally put a £1 coin in the wrong machine & my other daughter opened a machine at the start of a wash & the fab assistant helped us out. If you check them out online I believe they also do delivery (at a small surcharge). My clothes were super clean & I got my Covid backlog sorted in 1 day - a big WIN for me!

Oh I just love it, especially in the winter when it gets all steamy and the gorgeous smell. Going here always reminds me of the 1960s and the film “Up The Junction” when everybody went to the launderette!😂😂

🫧 There's launderettes and then there's launderettes. This is definitely one of the latter. You take you dirty laundry there, in the machine it goes, £5 for a 28 minute cycle and Bob's your uncle/Bobarella's your aunt, out pop some gleaming clean clothes. What more could you ask for? 🫧

I've started going to this laundrette as it closes later than my local one.

I gave 3 stars instead of 5 because parking anywhere near the laundrette is impossible so you have to walk quite a way once parked (as someone with a spine problem this is frustrating).

There's also not a change/coin machine in there to change up notes so it's a pain having to go to lots of different shops prior to try and change up enough money for both the washing machines and dryers
