BOBO'S BUBBLES

I didn't have the greatest experience, but that was partly due to my own obliviousness. First thing you need to know is if you need detergent, *only* two 50 pence coins can get it for you.

The washers are very picky about how you put coins in them. I followed the handwritten directions to put them in slowly and when the last two kept getting stuck, banging on the machine made them go down. Later, another customer told me that pressing the coin return button will make them come down even if they're stuck, and you can just put them in over and over and over again until the washer works.

Tried banging on the dryer when my coin wouldn't go down, but to my embarrassment, the same customer showed me you need to turn a knob to make it go down. My bad.

Once you get them working, the washers and dryers work very well. The directions for the sequence to follow on the washers are very clear, you just need to know the detergent slots are on top, not on the front of the machine.

There are great little baskets to transfer your clothes from washer to dryer and there seems to be one for each dryer.

There is an ATM in front of the Sainsbury across the street. I got £10, then used it to buy a bag of nuts inside for under £2 and asked for my change all in coins for the laundry. The cashier was happy to do so, but be sure to ask for 2 50 pence coins if you need detergent.

This left me £8 for laundry. That got me detergent, a £6 wash and 10 minutes in the dryer for £1. If you need another 10 minutes, just buy something for under £1 instead.

There is a washer that is only £5, but it's smaller and I didn't think it was big enough for all my clothes. If you have a smallish load, you will also have enough for another 10 minutes in the dryer.

Decided to take a chance on it despite some of the feedback. Was exceptional. Machine worked well, dryer worked and dried a full load of clothes in less than 30 mins. £5 for a wash and £1 per 10 mins in dryer. The lady there was very kind and helpful. Washing done within an hour.

Bobo's was fine as far as a laundrette goes. At this location there was no attendant for change. Over 1/2 of the washers and dryers were out of service completely. They did get our clothes clean which I guess is the point which is why it is getting three stars and not 1.

This place is rubbish. The detergent vending machine stole my money. Most washing machines were put of order. The machine I used only ran for 12 minutes and it didn't clean out any of my stains. The dryer stole another pound from me. All told, after getting detergent from Sainsbury across the street, I paid about 15 pounds for half-clean clothes.

Quite a few of the machines didn't work due to the fact they can't get the parts. They do have a lady on staff. She is very friendly and attentive to your needs.

I would rate it higher, but half of the machines are out of order. Otherwise it would be a good place to do your laundry.

A ton of machines down the one we used for £6 did not spin well at all making us need a ton for the dryer. We asked the lady working for change she said she didn’t bring any in today, then not even 2 minutes later her friend from next door comes in to use the dryers (without washing which she enforced on another ) and she offers him change right in front of us.

Worst laundromat ever. Most machines not woking and no change machine! Terrible place. Would definitely not recommend.
