Victoria Road Launderette

We drove up from Blackpool as it was MUCH easier to access. There are 3 parking slots on the side of the building and parking on the street. The small washers are 3 pounds 60 pence but do a super job. Dryers accept 20p, 50p, 1&2 pound coins.

You will need to bring coins with you or walk to the closeby market (grocery store), buy product and ask for change in coins (that store saved our trip to wash!).

Glad we found this laundertte (the "other" side of travel you must think about😁).

Great little very clean and tidy launderette, Caroline who runs it, is very helpfull, has change, and soap powder, if your stuck, great for all people including blokes who may find it difficult. Very chatty warm atmosphere, hot brew offered if you want one.

Good local business for anyone, please support this local hub.

First visit so didn't know what to do.
Lovely lady showed us, very easy.
Managed to wash our king size mattress cover which would not fit in our washing machine as it was so thick. I discovered it had a zip all round, took it off then found out I couldn't wash it.
Thank goodness we have a launderette nearby.

My washing machine broke down and I ended up with about five lots of washing littering the bedroom. One trip to this launderette with help from the lovely lady and it was done in just over an hour.
Now wondering why I do four lots of washing a week, clothes all over the house. Trying to dry in winter when this is so convenient. I'm not even sure it's much more expensive.

I would give this place zero stars if I could and (not that they'll care) but will NEVER go back there again. If you advertise your business as being "Open" it's implicit that somebody will be there running it when customers arrive. Well, it is if you aren't so lazy that you want the money, but can't be bothered to be there. I arrived with two large machines worth of washing that needed washing and drying. I didn't phone ahead, because it didn't say anywhere that I needed to. When I got there, there were regulars in there who commiserated that it was often left unmanned. They were used to it and therefore prepared, whereas I wasn't. There was nowhere in the place to buy laundry powder or conditioner, but worst of all, the machines only took coins and there was NOBODY THERE to change the notes I had, so I had to go and plead to the better nature of the Sainsburys shop a few doors down and deprive them of nearly £30 worth of their £1 coins. Thank you Sainsburys for saving the day. Lazy, lazy business practice. Never, ever again! Clowns. 🤡

Quite shabby and not very clean.
Washing came out of machine quite wet. Then I left the premises while the clothes were drying only to return .. on time !( I had set a timer which had literally just gone off, I was across the road) to find my clothes had already been taken out of the dryer. I had no option to check if they had fully dried.
Not impressed!!!

Just had a lovely holiday in cleveleys for christmas, we have had a four week break. I needed to find a laundry service , I cant thank this laundry for the service , the staff so nice and very helpful with all your needs for washing your cloths.I went every week I was there in cleveleys and every time I had a lovely cup of tea and was offered a biscuit, l have never had nice laundry service like this before, you lovely lady do a great job, l aam back in may, l will see you all again soon, lovely laundry, thank you for the service and the lovely chats , lady from preston. Caroline, the lady who owns it is very helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
