Mela Laundrette

There are clean brand new machines here with no hassle payment system and very easy to operate. They accept variety of coins which is handy. In case you have no change there is a corner shop opposite that gives you coins for the laundrette. There is only one large washing machine but I have never had an issue as the place is fairly quiet. Inside it is always clean and I would definitely recomment it to everyone especially if you do a self servive wash.

Service wash whilst our washing machine out of order. Collected several bags from us in the morning and delivered back to us washed, dried and neatly folded in the afternoon of the same day! Really impressed with the speed and quality of service. Highly recommended!

Great self service laundromat. Clean environment. Well maintained machines. Easy to use. Good instructions. Would be great if there was a coin / change machine tho 😂 or card service. But other than that a great find. Thanks

Due to display not working one of machine which I used end up with lost couple of pounds .. they should change the display or put sign DISPLAY NOT WORKS …

The place is not managed well, the machines a full with coins so even if the machine works you can not use it. Also washing machines so 3 out the 5 are broken what a waste of time will never go back again. Plus it’s very dirty In there every thing needs a good bleach on that note terrible. - 1 start

We would highly recommend Mela Laundrette for cleaning your duvets. As you can appreciate, being in lock down for so long and not having a washing machine big enough to do a king-size quilt, we were glad to be able to get ours washed. They collected on the Tuesday and delivered back on the Wednesday and the quilt now smells fresh again.
The finish is absolutely brilliant, considering how stained it was and the staff cannot be faulted, so polite and courteous.
The price for collection and delivery was very reasonable for a king-size quilt and saved us having to traipse to a laundrette and sit and wait for it to be washed and dried.
