Borth Launderette

So useful to have a launderette available in Borth. Open good long hours with seats so you can wait for your laundry. Plenty of parking spaces for customers. Facilities include washing machines of different sizes, spinner and tumble dryers. Community Park nearby is really handy for when you have to drag the little ones with you. Don't forget to like my review 😀

I agree with the last review as in the laundrette could do with a good clean and a lick of paint. The machines I used were clean inside and did not smell but were dirty on the inside of the door glass under the rubber seal and also the gap between the drum and the outer housing but these don't touch the washing.

You can buy powder from a machine for 70pence and the washing machines cost £2 for a small, £3 for a medium, £4 for a large and a super size one at £5 per wash. I found it best to use the spinner at 50pence a time as the wash spin is not that great.
I did not use the dryers myself but others were being used when I have been, I recall the cost as 20 pence for 15mins or £1 for an hour.

Plenty of parking, inside seating and a small table and a pile of magazines to read if you get bored.

This place was my saviour whilst my own washing machine was broken and I did not want to fight with the students in Aber or have to park miles away and lug my washing through town.

Would use again but would be nice to see the place a little cleaner and more welcoming, open daily between 8am and 6pm tucked away next to the Uppingham Hall in Borth.

Washing machines are dirty, I was horrified when I opened washer door and saw the dirt around the glass door fitting hence I dont use any more. On another occasion i came to use dryers , when i took clothes out of dryer they smelt dirty and greasy. The whole place needs a good clean. Wont be going back.

Cheap washers choice of £2,£3,£4 and £5 it has a spinner for 50p .The dryers are £1 for 15 mins .You can buy washing powder from a vending machine,have plenty of £1 coins 50p's and some dryers use 20p's to.

So easy to use and plenty of parking space.
