Coin Wash & Dry Clean

I went on a Sunday afternoon. There were no staff there. The machines only took old one pound coins. Half the washing machines were 'out of order' with little notices sellotaped over the part you put a coin in. Half the dryers were 'out of order'. The machines that were working were in need of a clean. There is a huge need for a launderette in this part of Oxford. It is a shame it is such a poor quality launderette.

I believe there are two women working there: one of them is very sweet, often took care of switching my clothes from washer to drier, and barely asked anything in return. The other woman is not as friendly, and gives the impression that she would rather be elsewhere when you ask her questions.

None of the tumble dryers work!
The washing machine door jammed for an hour with the laundry in the machine - which is really problematic if you are visiting during the hours when the shop isn't staffed!

About 40% of the machines were not working. The one I used was pretty caked in old detergent, but despite all that, it did a reasonable job of cleaning. The dryer cost one pound for 10 minutes and dried our wash almost to iron dryness.

Only 2 of the 12 machines are working.
6£ for a 28minute cycle!!

No dryer is working, most washing machines out of order, no soap dispenser, no change to coins.

Worst launderette in Oxford only 1 machine works and the rest steal your money.
No way to contact anyone if something goes wrong and the machines are disgusting. Never cleaned full of old washing detergent and stagnant bleach water from old customers trying to use a broken machine.
Only 1 setting on the machine: short, cold wash.
Wouldn’t even give this place 1 star it’s a joke and blatant scam.

If you don’t mind dirty machines and the dryers not working this is a perfect place to take your laundry.
