I have had the misfortune of being on the opposing side of a ‘transaction’ with this firm. I have had no choice but to withdraw because this firm of solicitors, along with my own, chose to drag their heels on a transaction that should have completed months ago. It has been evident that the buyer had no intention of completing, yet this has gone unnoticed and the file handler has clearly not taken it seriously enough to push it onto completion. Instead, accusations were thrown around by her client and the file handler should have had common sense to figure out that these were not true at all. Half the stress of a property deal is taken out if the solicitors are competent, however I feel like I’ve done most of the chasing and leg work to try and get this deal moving, particularly in the past few weeks. One thing is for sure - if I ever have the misfortune of coming across this solicitor and file handler again, I will be withdrawing immediately from whatever sale I have ongoing at the time.

After contacting this law firm, I did not receive a call back to get booked-in to see a solicitor, after waiting "weeks" for them to contact me, to book me in.. VERY poor service. I have now received great service from "Farleys", Blackburn.😃

I'm using this firm for number of years with very high volume of transactions and I found them extremely helpful and professional, now especially when we went through a very complicated transaction for months and I want to give a big shout out to Nicola and Sharon which have been working tirelessly non stop to make this happen and felt my pressure as theirs to get this over and done.

Although I’m still in court proceedings due to a complete and utter mess another firm of solicitors have left me in.

It’s really good to know that there are some decent solicitors out there that follow the rules and care.

I called into reception and asked the lady at the desk if i could speak to a solicitor as i needed a 2 page document witnessing, she just looked at me and said "nobody is availible" i said do you know of any other solicitors in the area she said "no" - Terrible customer service.

Very professional and they dealt with my query promptly.

Legal Ombudsman decision pending. Little Miss Muffett left the firm? Wouldn't touch with a bargepole. If anyone has suffered poor service, negligence or bare-faced written lies from the Directors or practice manager, do not be afraid to seek legal advice or complain to the Legal Ombudsman. Where there's one, there'll be another. If you choose to appoint them for a complex matter, you have been warned. They will charge you £000s and then shamelessly leave you in the lurch. Remedy band £5k-10k for one upheld complaint.
Firm declined to take responsibility for decisions of non-qualified staff, to tell the truth and begin dispute resolution. Makes you wonder what murky secrets lie beneath the surface

I have recently dealt with Dani Pemberton who I cannot thank enough for all the work she’s done for my company in arranging the lease termination on our business premises. Until Dani got involved I’d had major issues in getting responses to calls, emails and texts personally from myself to the landlord and property management of the business premises which went on for over a year but once Dani was involved she managed to get all this sorted with them professionally and efficiently. So I definitely recommend ‘Marsden Rawsthorn’ to deal with and Dani is a credit to their company. Many thanks again.
