My solicitor and her team were extremely thorough and highly professional. They were very responsive and always ready to answer any questions I had. Any queries directed to me from the estate agent were also handled in a prompt manner.

Also, my solicitor always provided bespoke reports based on any information gathered from searches etc. These reports highlighted parts of the information gathered that I needed to pay special attention to.

I also liked that I could view the progress of the whole process electronically via a portal provided by Martin Tolhurst.

All in all, I am more than pleased with the service I received and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else or use their services again in the future.

We were in the process of buying our first home and we have had so many issues with our sellers solicitors and documents being wrong but they got on the case straight away to help resolve all of the issues we were having.

Buying a property can be a very stressful process but this wasn't the case for us due to the hard work, diligence, patience, kindness and professionalism of both Leah, Isabelle and the team.

The communication was excellent and they kept us informed on all steps and throughout the process. Leah made sure we were aware of what was happening, how long it was estimated to take and managed out expectations from the start. This meant we were reassured on what was happening and kept up today regularly so there was no chasing up or asking what was happening as Leah was constantly communicating with us. This level of service was priceless when considering all the uncertainty that goes with making such a large financial transaction.

Leah was so diligent and has a great knowledge of the process. Both Isabelle and Leah were extremely proactive and had already asked questions/ raised enquires of the other party before we could even think of what we wanted to raise enquires about. They also kept us informed of answers to enquires as and when they received them. We found this to be most helpful as it allowed us to received information in real time, digest it and raise further queries to the specific points if we needed to.

We will alway be grateful to Leah and Isabelle not only for the professional service but for never making us feel like a nuisance. We never felt like just another case but, instead they made us feel like our new home mattered to them.

Martin Tolhurst were the best solicitors I've ever dealt with for conveyancing; I was especially happy with the way any questions I had were answered very quickly and in a really friendly manner, so you never felt like you were asking something silly! I would highly recommend them for any property sale/purchase.

This review is coming in late. I completed my house purchase in August, but I had to provide a review as my solicitor and her assistant were so professional and really efficient at their job. Leah Chambers and Isabelle Pym were both a great team. I completely my house purchase in 11 weeks which was very quick due to how efficient they were. They were able to answer any questions I had and I didn’t have to chase to get a feedback from them. Even during my solicitor’s absence another solicitor provided me a written report of my searches. I will definitely recommend this firm to anyone looking to use them for conveyancing and they are not expensive.
