Just used Glover Priest Solicitors Tamworth to handle the sale of my property and also my purchase of my new home. The service was outstanding and made what is one of the most stressful things ( moving home ) a smooth process we had a couple of hiccups along the way but these were dealt with in a very professional and quick manner to move the chain along. We had the pleasure of dealing with Rachel Freeman and Jane Hilton who were both lovely , they dealt with the whole process and kept us up to date with progress until the very end, Nothing was too much trouble and they always come back to you very quickly with any questions we had. I would recommend these lovely ladies, this is the second time we have used this company and they are great.

Very basic level service. Felt like a box ticking exercise. Had to chase, was made to feel a nuisance and on day of completion, when vendors of our purchase were in breach of contract on multiple levels, leaving us with uninhabitabe house, made herself unavilable until it was too late to do anything. Was rude and to this date, 7 weeks later, have still heard nothing. Would not recommend.

NB: Deplorable that you find it acceptable to defend yourself on a public forum and yet still leave us waiting on this, and the many other questions, legal and otherwise. Further cements my 1star comment and will be emailing you further.

Lack of communication from the solicitors. Was told not to call but instead email the solicitor handling my matter. Highly unprofessional. Had to constantly chase. Was initially told they had my signed paperwork for them to only turn around and inform me that the documents had been lost and to send them via post again which cost me £20 to get it delivered to their office on time in order to exchange and complete. Would not recommend to family/friends.

We have recently sold and purchased through GloverPriest and were very disappointed by the service given. Everything had to be chased by us weekly. We even had to source our own searches after being told they were waiting for them for 8 weeks. Once we got hold of them, we found out the searches were returned to GloverPriest a month before. They refuse to speak to you on the phone, saying they're busy or out office unless you kick up a fuss. When you do speak to them, they have no idea who you are and what is happening with your move. We were made to believe that it was a simple chain but were made aware a few days before completion that there were circumstances that we were not informed of but were crucial to completing our move. This occurred on two completion days despite other solicitors in the chain saying GloverPriest knew for months. We were told we'd be made a priority on completion day when in reality the money needed for our purchase was sat on by GloverPriest for 2 hours. They were uncontactable and we were left uncertain of whether we'd be completing that day. We were due a balance payment 3-5 days after completion. After over a week of waiting for this, we had to contact GloverPriest and they hadn't yet completed the transfer. We ended up getting this 2 weeks after moving. I would not advise using this company.

We used Glover Priest Solicitors when purchasing our house and we only have good things to say. They were friendly, efficient and went above and beyond to get out house closed quickly. Highly Recommend!

I used Gloverpriest for the purchase of my new home because they were one on the panel for the mortgage lender i was using .
Far from great service and i wouldn’t recommend them.
I actually didn’t directly speak to the solicitor handling things the whole way through, even not being told she had moved branches and was contactable on an entirely different number , communication was few and far between and they didn’t seem proactive at all i actually ended up chasing things myself to get things over the line
With something like a house move being a stressful experience it could have been made all the easier by actually being spoken to and updated
Even at the last stage they had calculated things wrong and before exchange needed over 2k extra to what they had originally told me - lucky i had it or i wouldnt have moved that week !
