Keeley was extremely professional, open and honest yet compassionate, considerate and understanding throughout the whole conveyancing process.

She was always there to pick up the phone (even when we were on the other side of the world) to communicate giving regular updates and when she wasn't available she would warn us in advance which gave us the complete confidence that she was doing everything in her power to move things forward.

This is the second time that I have used Veitch Penny and both times have come away very satisfied with the quality of service.

If I could give 6 stars I would and rest assured when shopping around for the best price VP provided me with top quality senior staff for a very good price.

I never thought I would never say this as I sound like my father but I wouldn't go anywhere else again when choosing a law firm.

Alastair Dunnett was recommended to us by our estate agents. He has been an absolute godsend. Practical and pragmatic, with a fantastically positive attitude. For every problem that arose he found a solution.
Despite his workload, he always responded very quickly either by phone or by mail. We were kept informed throughout the process. His eye for detail is amazing. He delivered high quality professional standards with warmth and good humour. We can’t thank him enough.

Used in the past for a good experience, but in 2022 it took three phone calls, promises of call backs that never happened, an email via their website and over a week to finally be told they’re not currently taking on conveyancing work.

I’d suggest that this sort of poor communication between call handlers and solicitors would indicate whatever your needs, look elsewhere.

Avoid at all costs!

Veitch Penny were involved with a transaction of ours in late 2021 / early 2022 a constant source of frustration. Super unhelpful and inefficient throughout the process. A complete lack of urgency from day one.

Constant complaints from estate agents describing VP as rude and difficult to deal with. A 3 month process took nearly 6 months with VP a major factor causing £1,000’s extra due to the delay.

We were told that toward to end of the process that even the seller himself (VP were his legal representatives) was compiling a complaint.

Countless examples of lack of action or urgency. One of the worst experiences I have been a part of in my life. If I can warn just one person against using these guys I will have done my job. Truly awful.

If you have disabled access as stated in your profile then tell me where is the sign to indicate where the access is? From the front of the building to the left are steps and to the right are steps, thus not accessible from the front!! So there presumably is a back entrance?? But where is it exactly, under the underpass of your building or maybe down the road. Either way there is NO sign to say where the access is. I know, I was there last week taking a trip down memory Lane and took some pics.

I have had a limited contact with this firm, but my impression is that it is an excellent firm. Their approach is honest and open. Everything is laid out and the cost of their services are well detailed. It is a good start. Their paralegal is very well prepared and explained Everything to me in a nice, plain fashion. They got back to me with a nice
friendly professional attitude. Again, what struck me the most is their honest approach in terms of the cost of their services. I don't thing is something happening everyday. Well done!
