Excellent service. I was pursuing a claim through the solicitors recommended by my insurers. I was unhappy at the service and asked Smith Jones for a second opinion. They took the claim on for me, brought it to a very successful conclusion and kept me informed every step of the way. Thank you for your assistance in this stressful ti

Vanessa dealt with my RTA claim. She advised me throughout and "held my hand" which was extremely helpful. I couldn't be happier.

I had previously instructed a well known solicitor, who where awful to deal with and dismissed all my needs. This lead me to research further, I chose Smith Jones for my personal injury claim based on their accreditations and I felt their website was very informative which gave me hope. On dealing with my transaction I cannot fault them. They are professional, informative, they listen to your needs, every question was answered and no question was too much. I will 100% reccomend these to anyone who needs them. In addition to this the level claimed far exceeded the first solicitor which to me is testament to their knowledge of the specialist law. Thank you again Smith Jones

No Win No Fee? Don't believe it, I was asked to contribute to the cost of a Barrister!

I was persuaded to engage Smith Jones professional services and everything seemed ok. I wont nit pick about matters but prefer to summarise. Two days before the case was due to be heard in court I was asked to pay 50% of the cost of a Barrister who wanted over £2k to represent me. It was put to me that it was too late in the day to find someone else on a no win no fee basis therefore this was the best option all round. I was also advised that if the case did not go to court I could liable for some of the preparation costs due to the case not being heard as planned. I negotiated the amount as I felt this was the better and most cost effective option. When met the appointed Barrister he said this was a very weak case and would be difficult to win. (This MAY be why he rejected the case initially) Once in court I believe certain things could have been put to the judge but were not, I believe this would have helped the case. I have written twice to the "directors" but I have been informed no letters have been received. I have since obtained their names and will send to them directly. It is my believe that if things had been prepared earlier and a suitable Barrister engaged then I would not have to be asked for a contribution. I am also in the process of taking my case to the Ombudsman as I feel I had little option but to comply due to the lateness of the request and the presumed financial consequences of the case not being heard.

I shall await their review accordingly, I am far from satisfied of how things turned out towards the end
