Having had dealings with previous Solicitors
I found Burnham Law Practice to be most professional, and the costs incurred were well invested for a successful outcome. I was fully advised that the outcome may not always be favourable but Noorani Tiwana and her team were very efficient and always carried out an excellent job.

I had nothing but trouble as soon as I started using this company for my case (which I lost thanks to them) due to them not producing my evidence which I provided to them. They charged me in the end £23k for this, and then hit me with a further £10k bill after I lost the case, which they ordered me to pay. I was so unhappy with this that I filed a case against them wit the legal ombudsman which I won. Noorani then had to waver the final £10k bill, and then pay me back some money in compensation. I feel compelled to let others know not to use this company, or their sister company Northwood Law which is run by the same person (Noorani Tiwana). They just make you pay thousands and thousands before they say they can do any work for you, and the work that they do for you is done by untrained student solicitors and they were also asking me to do a lot of the work for them all last minute. I could go on forever about their inability to handle law work, I feel compelled to write such an honest review about this so other people who are also in my situation do not have to suffer like I did.

Burnham Law were extremely professional and understading and made me feel at ease during a very difficult period of my life. I received excellent advice and all the staff that I encountered were very helpful.

I had been in touch with several solicitors during an extremely stressful period. I was searching online, reading reviews and created a shortlist. After speaking to all of them, the Burnham Law Practice was the one I instructed to deal with my case. The professionalism, advice, responsiveness and communication, fees and final result, far exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank Noorani and her fantastic team enough for helping me through such a traumatic time.

We were poorly advised by Burnham/ Northwood at the Northwood office owned by noorani tiwana which has led to costs and debt n the region of 70 . We should have been advised to accept a part 36 offer very early on in our case but the employee acted in the interest of the firm and not us the person that ultimately collectively pays their wages.( A part 36 offer is a term i am now familiar with but the solcitor abdul halim explained it in a 2 miniute conversation and made it sound like it was a crooked offer , this was and is not legal advice ) We was drip fed bits of the truth as the case evolved but because this was a pot of cash in my mothers estate the lawyer mr abdul halim that eventually left on bad terms with the principle noorani tiwana ( please refer to a tiwana giving a fake review who is the relative of the principle of the firm ). We was charged £3500 to fill in a statutory demand which we have since found out should have been at most £500 and as little as £150 . Imagine £3500 to fill in a form that would take a solicitor at most 1 hour . This is beyond overcharging and i would suggest even criminal .
We are very average people and we have been left in a very bad mess by people who should be advising honestly on law but who are really twisting the law to suit themselves and make large amounts of money nd then to ultimately leave people like us high and dry.
I was invited to the office to discuss the matter but at that point it was not applicable as we had a ongoing case . I have no doubt that that meeting had it took place would have no doubt been in your interest and not mine.
Your employee has said in writing that abdul halim has been very negligent so what more is there to say.
I would add that the good reviews on this site came very quickly after my ad review and i have since found out that one review on here is from the daughter of the manager of the company.
Make your own mind up but i seriously suggest that you try hard to find a lawyer with integrity .
Our claim of negligence has been handed to northwood laws insurers. Noorani tiwana continues to avoid the matter and constantly gives excuses for not dealing with this matter . I personally think the negligence is such that solicitors who behave in such a manner should be prevented from practising law as they have shown complete contempt for us and our complaints . I will update as the matter evolves as the ombudsmen is now on the case and we will be suing for financial loss to the tune of 90 k plus compensation for the mental health issues caused as a result .

Noorani dealt with my financial consent order in a professional timely manner. I would highly recommend her as a finance / divorce solicitor.
