Excellent service throughout the process of selling my property. Having received quotes from solicitors nearer my home address I opted to engage Gavin and Kam at Carpenters following a recommendation from within our family. They had themselves had a positive experience and Carpenters' price was more competitive.

Gavin commenced matters to start the sale and Kam then managed all the ongoing communication which was regular, relevant and succinct. As neither the purchaser nor myself was in a chain the procedures ran smoothly and at Carpenters' suggestion we exchanged and completed simultaneously in agreement with the purchasers.

I have used Carpenter & Co solicitors since 2013 at least three times. The only reason, I went there is because of Paul Verlander. He is absolute gem there and helped me in 2013. After this, I did not have very good experience with them. But, I guess this could be because they are very busy. However, I decided to stop using them when one of their partner left my case in the middle leaving me completely vulnerable just before COVID pandemic. I had to find another solicitor. Most of the things are now sorted but because their partner left (and COVID) the case, it took more than 2 years to get other things sorted. I don't think I will use them in future, unless I am dealing with Paul.

Carpenter & Co assisted me through the purchase of my first property and I cannot recommend them enough, their entire staff are so litigious, kind and helpful and always endeavour to go the extra mile to help. They're extremely understanding and helpful should things go awry, and I felt completely supported through the entire process I always recommend them to anyone I know seeking legal assistance, and should I need to open a new case again they'd be my first call.

I bought a property, it is share of freehold, it is really complicated, Gavin and Kam help me a lot, especially Gavin, my solicitor, he knows what is kep point and give me professional suggestion. They are really perfect and professional and efficiency.

Absolutely shocking company. I had a car accident in Aug 2021. 3rd party admitted liability for drink driving. I don't receive any communication. My case worker is CLAIRE REAY. I have taken advice from citizens advice, other injury lawyers. I now have no choice but to take the case on myself. I don't need a lawyer that can not even do her job. I have been advised to take the case to court. Carpenters will not receive any money owing from the work they have done. You are in breach of your contract according to the law.
