Thanks Hugh and all the team for your amazing help being executor of my mums will. Your help was invaluable at a tricky time not only following mums death, but with covid affecting everyone in some way or another. It was great you helped us through the whole process with selling the house, finalizing all closing bills, and sorting the administration. With most people working from home responsiveness to emails was great.

I would highly recommend anyone looking to make a will and have everything managed by Kirk and Partners as it was all very smooth following my mums death.

Shelia and the team were nothing short of amazing helping us purchasing our new home. We couldn't believe how quickly they processed everything and were around 500GBP cheaper than another larger firm. Plus we got to support a local business! Thank you so much.

Instructed Kirk & Partners for conveyancing and had nothing but problems with them. Unresponsive and unprofessional. Had issues with copies of our passports being lost which caused weeks of delays. Eventually two months later they told us they couldn’t act for us due to conflict of interest, but even that wasn’t communicated with us for weeks. They made everything more stressful than it needed to be - avoid!

Choosing Kirk & Partners was one of the worst decisions I've ever made, I had to constantly chase these
to the point I nearly lost my property I was looking to buy, and when I did eventually get to speak to Hugh Lewis I found him to be so rude and arrogant, he really does need some training on people skills, and to make matters worse, a very poor survey failed to pick up on a broken boiler, and guess what, he isn't getting back to me, dreadful service

Awaful service.I used Kirk and Partners for a flat purchase, I went for them as they were slightly cheaper than other solicitors but this was big mistake. I saved £300 in fee but now facing 25K in additional charges from Management agency because solicitor did not do his study the documentation and failed to spot errors with management report. The solicitor assigned was Mr Huge Lewis he has absolute zero interest in work , require chasing for every single documents , he does not study documentation , he doesn’t deal with situation as expected nor protect your interest.

The purchases of our late father's property unfortunately used Kirk & Partners for conveyancing. The sale nearly fell through as a result.

Communication is very poor. Mr Lewis was almost impossible to contact; our solicitor waited days and weeks for responses to messages, which stalled the process almost terminally. He did not update his clients on the answers we provided to questions they had raised. When contact was made (by phone), his manner was rude and arrogant.

Avoid.

Lewis is next to impossible to my solicitors: hearing conflicting excuses. Eg: oh sorry was on holiday and there is a lot to sort out/ did not hear from the other side sols. No proper deadlines provided in communications and don’t stick to promises made. I'm going through a nightmare!

I'm about to withdraw from a purchase facilitated by Hugh Lewis. Previous buyers dropped out too. He is slow, unresponsive, disappearing and deceiving to both his clients and the other side of the transaction. If you want to close your deal, go elsewhere.
