Boulter & Co, and more specifically in my case, Sally Louca, has done a fantastic job of conveyancing for me. And not once - Sally has overseen four property buy and sells for me spanning back to 2016. All of these experiences were 5 star. She works very hard, is fast to respond and makes sometimes complicated processes easy to understand and manage. I cannot understand the negative reviews on here; I too had to sign some documents in a corridor once as the office was closed due to COVID - closed but still operating!!! Sally will have all of my future business and I thank her wholeheartedly for the excellent work she has done to date.

I had a very bad experience with Boulter & Co. who did the conveyancing work for a house purchase.

When it came close to completion date, I specifically asked them to give me the completion balance several weeks in advance of completion date, so I could have my monies ready way in advance, and settle the payment ahead of completion date to avoid last minute stress.

Boulter & Co. did this for me, and I paid my completion balance weeks in advance of the completion date for peace of mind - or at least that's what I thought. Then, on the night before completion I received an email from them, telling me they had miscalculated the completion balance and that I owed another 20k in funds the night before completion or else it would not go ahead. Bear in mind this was their error. And it completely undid the whole purpose of me asking for the completion balance in advance - which was precisely to avoid this problem.

Then , 2 weeks later, they emailed me again on the night before the stamp duty payment deadline, telling me they had AGAIN miscalculated the payment I owed. They asked me to pay another £5k and despite my complaints, the had very little empathy and almost no understanding that this was unacceptable customer service. This caused me unbelievable stress and I had to call upon last minute favours to family to give me enough money to pay these miscalculated funds.

I will never be using these solicitors again.
