We were so lucky to have chosen Taylor Rose for our conveyancing. We were assigned Andri, who couldn’t have been more helpful, friendlier, and informative. We had communication with her well outside working hours, including the weekend, she helped us understand the legal jargon associated with our purchase and steered us in the right direction with important decisions we had to make along the way. 6 stars if we could!

Taylor Rose lied to me. I had a simple conveyancing procedure, no chain. There were no charges that should have been a surprise, no charges they couldn't have told me about at the start in the initial quote. I asked a dozen times in the 2.5-3 months of the process "if there are charges beyond my initial quote, tell me ahead of time, tell me ahead of time", and they agreed this in writing at the start but then failed to do so, and they dodged subsequent direct questions about whether specific charges applied too.

24hrs before deadline to pay the last of my deposit along with their fees they slapped £600 of fees on (on top of the £2300 already quoted!!!) and they even were £300 above the fees in the fees stated in the T&C of the quote for those specific charges (should they apply).

I had no choice other than to either pay, or to miss the completion deadline, lose my £30k deposit and be slapped with fines and legal action. So I paid almost £3000 for a service I could have got for less than half from other firms with the same level of poor service (I foolishly believed "get what you pay for" and decided not to "cheap out".)
The poor service and communication throughout was not worth even the original quote, let alone £3k.

These must all be fake reviews. Do NOT get involved. If you are assigned Nina Koushi as your solicitor then RUN. Best of luck to you buyers, it's shark infested waters out there.

Aliyah from Taylor Rose was exceptional in her constant support, professionalism and communication throughout the purchase of my first home. Taylor Rose are everything you could want in a solicitor. We were badly burned by our last solicitor (The Partnership) who failed to register our ownership with the land registry so we were wary of whatever solicitors we used next. Taylor Rose have always been straight forward to use, good at keeping in touch and responding to questions. They communicate well and are proactive about chasing things up in good time. We had Jade, Sukhvir and Nina on our purchase and sale and they were brilliant.
