Avoid like the plague... I would give zero stars but it will not let me.. Lionel is so unprofessional, he never responses to emails or phone calls, to us or the other solicitors. Takes forever to do anything and constantly lies to you about what he has meant to of done. We did most of the running around to both our buyer and the seller and had to ring up constantly to get him to do anything. Don't make the same mistake we did, I wouldn't even recommend to my worst enemy. We have gone to the ombudsman about him.
Other staff are lovely and try to help.

These are my vendors solicitors and I am absolutely appalled with their work ethic, communication style to my solicitor (abrupt and unhelpful), ignorance to everyone involved in the sale, and lack of support to my seller who is in his 80s. They have just ignored everyone and are working at such a snail pace which has lead to delay after delay and so much unclarity. They clearly have taken on way too much work and cannot cope with the demands. Work is being passed from one locum to another and it’s just not progressing at all and going round in circles. Avoid at all costs!

This firm is not fit for purpose in these days. Such a unprofessional, rude and disrespectful to clients and other solicitors. Really don't understand what is their job. Hired them for purchase but OMG! mistakes, unresponsive, no communication what so ever! Legal ombudsman is the only thing, I can think of after dealing with them. If you want to waste your time and money, get in touch with them.

Not used them personally these are the vendors solicitor dealing with a property I am purchasing and I am appalled by their lack of knowledge, response and delays in dealing with the sale, I'm likely to end up now paying stamp duty due to their tardiness and unprofessional attitude this company is going to cost me dearly.
I couldn't agree more with Danielle's post / review the company have no urgency to deal with their customers it's ludicrous it takes them 5 weeks to even read an email let alone act upon it, it was early May when my offer was accepted and we still have no idea of a moving in date or when I'm likely to get one, it's so stressful as totally out of our control, I will be contacting ombudsman!
Update I found out today I might lose the house I've been hoping to buy since May due to the lack of samble burton and worths knowledge and actions to say I'm devastated is an understatement. I will be now making a formal complaint on my case with ombudsman in the morning, seriously do not use this company they have no morals, no concern, no urgency or customer service skills.

Dealing with these solicitors at the moment. Bad mistake on my behalf. The time it takes to get anything done and completed is shocking! Linol and Lisa are never available to speak to and NEVER return a call! Very disrespectful when we are paying good money to do a job!!
