I have dealt with Cunningtons Solicitors on a number of occasions. The results have varied from excellent to extremely poor.
I am however writing this review to bring your attention to one particular solicitor. Mr Nicholas Brothers of the Croydon office is an extremely diligent and pleasant individual. He puts himself out to ensure that transactions progress at a satisfactory rate, whilst ensuring that all issues are identified and properly addressed. He can be relied on to pursue the inevitable questions and queries that arise during any property sale/purchase. Until he is satisfied that his clients best interests are assured.

Nicholas Brothers at Cunningtons has handled my last three property purchases. Two commercial and one private (residential) over the span of the last three years. After my experiences I would absolutely not consider using any other solicitor. Nick is everything you would look for and expect in a solicitor, calm, diligent, very experienced, detail orientated and always willing to give advice/ feedback. I have had many positive comments from estate agents and other people I know to the effect that "You have a very good solicitor". I cannot recommend Nicholas highly enough and feel that if you are buying or selling a property you couldn't do better than having Nicholas on your side.

We have instructed Cunningtons Croydon branch on Multiple occasions purely on the basis for (Nick) Nicholas Brothers to assist us on commercial business purchases.
I have always found his service and experience of an outstanding level. I would say his commitment and knowledge of commercial conveyancing is second to none and we have always valued his opinion and judgement.
We look forward to working with Cunningtons (Nick) again on our next commercial purchase.

I engaged Nicholas (Nick) Brothers from Cunningtons to manage the sale of my property in 2014, this sale for many reasons became complex and extrapolated (2 years!) and frankly without the professionalism, personal touch and commitment of Nick to ensure my best interests at all times the outcome would have been devastating. I cannot recommend him or Cunningtons highly enough, without any hesitation I would encourage anyone to engage them and indeed if I should ever need further conveyancing services I won't even think twice as to who I would use. Outstanding service, especially considering I do not live in the UK and needed a solicitor who could work remotely with exceptional levels of communication, that is what I got from Nick and Cunningtons.

Nicholas Brothers at Cunningtons in Croydon has now handled 3 of my purchases and the most recent sale of our home. An extremely knowledgeable solicitor. Nick always has time to give advice when ever needed unlike a lot of solicitors. Always a pleasure to deal with!

We used Cunningtons for our recent office move. Nicholas provided reliable, thorough and patient assistance throughout what proved to be a rather drawn out process. I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

If you are looking into the feedback, do pay attention to the negative one as they are more likely tell the true.

I am very regretted to use their service. It is time to break my silence to alarm the public.

Firstly, my purchase was seriously delayed. It took nearly 10 months to completion, and another 5 months passed, I still could not get my title registered.
Antonai required to do the simultaneous exchange and completion during the pandemic, which the seller rejected with good reason. Although I explained to her that it was not my best interest not to process it at all, but she asked me to sign an addition provision which meant I had to pay hundreds extra, I refused. Finally she forced me to sign a disclaimer to move this forward, and I had to renew my mortgage deals and pay extra for my expired local search. Now, my title still could not be registered no matter how many times I had to chase, even Antonia can not give me an answer about what exactly happened. The whole process is full of stress and painful.

Second, the quote they gave me may be a bit cheaper than the other high street solicitors, but they will find any chances later to ask you to buy any insurances they can fit in. At the end, I was forced to paid £1056.80 in total, which they got commission of £388.80, comparing the total premium of £668 itself! To be honest, I am the third time buyer, apart from the Chancel indemnity which we usually need to buy, I never heard of the others.

Third, the communication was terrible. During the lockdown, Antonia worked from home, although I kept asking for the direct contact number just in case, but she insisted email only. It took days for her to respond my emails, even not respond at all. Thinking about that she dealed with my purchase with hundreds of thousands pounds, and I can not speak to her when I need to, what a shame!

Enough is enough. Even the estate agent added them to the blacklist, not allow to use them any more. If you are considering to use their service, think again!

We were recommended by family members .However we weren’t able to instruct Wickford branch and were passed on to Croydon. We found the service very impersonal.Ms Verdi made us feel an inconvenience and at times we felt she was rude. She was difficult to contact by phone not only by us but also our agent.Ms Verdi seemed to forget we were her client.I would therefore not recommend Cunningtons and will not be using them again.
