They brought in an expert whose report was rude and literally blaming me for the fact my previous dentist had mis diagnosed a benign tumour!.
The experts report was contrary to what my doctors had concluded..
Soon as they got this they lost all interest in my case.
They dragged it out for 18 months then didnt even bother writing to me to close the case.
They don't apoear to have the expertise to deal with complex cases.
Would not recommend at all.
I went in with the approach of; I don’t have the money to fight this case and anything I receive is better than nothing.
There is a fair amount of waiting time with little contact; however this is due to time frames defendants have to reply, and a lot of time involves the law firm trying to get medical records (which can take months).
I have today been offered an amount to settle without going to court and after the maximum free deduction % I am very pleased with the amount I will be guaranteed to receive.
The terms and conditions of the agreement are straight forward enough to understand and overall I found the process easy.
As stated before, it is just a waiting game.
Some advice for those looking to make a ‘no win no fee’ claim-
Be patient, and accept that if you want to go down the route of no win no fee you have to accept that an out of court settlement is probably the best way for both yourself and the law firm to make some money and compensation.
Thankyou dental law partnership! - without you I would have been none the wiser, out of pocket and most likely never have received any compensation for years of poor and deceptive dental treatment.
Something about this place is an utter shambles
Dentists are reluctant to take on new NHS patients because of firms like these.
