I visited here for some advice about divorce etc. I spoke to a junior solicitor and later spoke to a qualified solicitor and was given further advice from her. A few weeks later I returned. As I started to go through my details and explaining how my situation had changed, the junior, (a different one this time) stopped me mid sentence and said to "wait a minute". She left the room for a few minutes then returned and said she could not carry on advising me as my Ex husband had been in for advice 2 weeks previously. I was dumbfounded, I said I'd been in before him and that I'd spoken to and given advice from this solicitors. The junior insisted she could no longer carry on. I left the solicitors very upset and looking back at this situation now it was extremely unprofessional. Both times I visited I gave my details, my name etc and my Ex husbands so this really should have been noticed when HE visited. Luckily, I went on to find a very good and proffesional solicitor elsewhere.

I do believe you saying you have none of my details on your client database in your response says it all really.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
I have to say the worst solicitors I have ever come across. I can only write this for the family court side of the business.

Please avoid at all cost they will not listen to what you have to say your basically told to keep your mouth shut in order for them to work with the local authorities. They are paid losers simple as that. My child was stolen and this corrupt company just assisted in working with social workers in order to keep my child. I have evidence in my case that's proves they things they did. PLEASE AVOID THIS Solicitors

Useless, I asked them to write a cease and desist
letter to neighbours who have encroached upon and damaged my property. Their answer? "We don't write to neighbours" This was after it took 24 hours for a qualified solicitor to get permission from their supervisor to reply with this astoundingly inept legal opinion. Further to the reply I have received, all I wanted was a letter written by a solicitor (which has now been supplied by another solicitor) I did not want to get into any litigation with anyone and would not so any settlement being less than the cost of legal advice is irrelevant and further compounds the inability to understand a simple request. Finally the fact that this firm did not have the capacity to take on writing a letter could have been stated plainly in the first place without the sarcasm of " We don't write to neighbours "

Used this company re: My late father's will. Not bad could be better.

Used Gamlins for conveyancing. Solicitor was rude. Lost my paperwork. Very unprofessional. Messages and emails left but Solicitor never got back in touch. The conveyancing process was too slow due to the Solicitor not dealing with things. Avoid this place and go to a different firm. Very overpriced.

I've seen horror stories first hand of how hard the house buying process can be, Gamlins have made this an absolute breeze by keeping me informed and by answering any questions I had in the process. their very proactive nature also made the house buying process extremely quick!
