Anthony Jacobs & Co

Having had experience of dealing with this firm regarding a freehold purchase where I was liable to pay the legal fees of the seller, in my opinion they are very expensive. If you are purchasing a freehold or extending the lease from a company called Busymost and they use this firm I would fully recommend asking for a written quote for their legal costs before you begin the process!

Anthony Jacobs is an excellent, reasonably priced solicitor and he has acted for me more than once. I would certainly use his services again. The firm are extremely friendly (including Lily the dog) which makes an enormous difference when one is going through a stressful situation. Anthony is known locally for writing a very strong letter (when justified!) and glad to say, most recently, all was settled before it got to the small claims court.

I was recommended to Anthony Jacobs & Co and I must say it was an excellent experience. Buying a house is a stressful process and they made things so easy it was unbelievable. I was also pleased with the bill! Highly recommended and personal thanks from myself to Anthony & the team.

Well what I can say Mr Jacobs has been my rock throughout my divorce proceedings which after 3 years are still on going couldn’t have gone through the amount of stress my ex husband and his solicitors have give me without his help an support he’s so calm and professional throughout these last few years I would highly recommend AJ solicitors for a stress free result

This solicitors is an absolute disgrace! Mr Jacobs was rude and obnoxious on the phone. I called asking why he hadn't transferred money from my house sale after more than a month after the date of completion. Still haven't received my money and he will not respond to phone calls/emails from my solicitor.

Like to thank Mr Jacob's and his team for his help with my divorce. With the stress and health issues I had ,When I had a few issues with ex he sorted it quickily for me and process went through smoothly. Thank you very much 🙂

A complete waste of time and money, also if you leave any documents with them they claim to loose them, I suspect they do this maliciously if there's a disagreement.

I gave him one star only because I had too, didn't once keep me informed how the case was proceeding never mind a letter or a phone call not even a email and even when I emailed them, they had the audacity to say they never received it. We all know lawyers exploit the uneducated and venerable and I'm afraid to say there was no change here.
