This is the 2nd time I have used Mackenzie Jones for their conveyancing services and despite the process exceeding a year both times (due to circumstances outside of their control), the service has always been incredibly smooth from start to finish. I have been exceptionally happy with their professionalism and level of support, particularly with contact being remote (I have purchased in Kent both times). I have always been able to reach my solicitor Hannah directly via phone and email response is swift.

Excellent communication and service from Mackenzie Jones. All the staff we dealt with were extremely helpful and kept us informed at every stage. I would highly recommend them.

Overall, I didn’t feel like our conveyancing agent was completely on the ball in looking after my interests. When my agent wasn’t available to speak to on the phone I was assured that they would call back. On a number of occasions either the the message apparently didn’t get through or I’d call again the following day and got the response ‘Oh, I was just about to call you’.
Also, the terms of acceptance of the sale offer ought to have been known and this didn’t appear to be the case when dealing with the purchaser’s solicitor (who tried to surreptitiously change the terms).
I would look around for another solicitor next time.
