Most amazing experience of peace and tranquility on every visit. The knowledge imparted here has completely changed perspective to life allowing to ride smoothly through pressures and understand true purpose of life. Regular visits help recharge batteries and provide continuous sustenance. Recommend meditation or free classes as a must do to go through the uplifting feeling.

I would not suggest this for your first meditation practice, but you may want to experiment with it later. As an experienced meditator I found that the meditations were actually a series of guided visualisation exercises. The centre is a location for the Brahma Kumaris religion. The exercises appeared to teach that the mind is detached from to the body. This lack of mind/body integration reduced my sense of groundedness and gave a feeling of some anxiousness and detachment.
For someone looking to start meditation I would suggest somewhere like the Buddhist Centre in Cambridge initially. Here they teach more standard and accepted meditation practices. Buddhist mindfulness practices also influenced the work by Oxford University with regards to mindfulness techniques. As such they are proven to improve wellbeing (and culminated in the Book Finding Peace in a Frantic World which distilled mindfulness practices into what is actually effective).
