I used Matthew Buttery for a house purchase at the start of the year. He was absolutely brilliant. If definitely recommend him and the Cannock office for any house purchase. Very smooth with plenty of updates. I am about to sell and buy again and am using them for both. No brainier for me.

It’s not possible to put 0 stars, I would avoid Ansons Solicitors at all costs especially if you are needing probate or anything to do with wills etc. The current solicitor does not return calls, does not send letters when she stats she will. Absolutely appalling service, no doubt there will be a hefty bill at the end, for literally no service.

Matthew & Jenna in the Cannock conveyancing team on the whole gave us great service and competitive costs compared with other solicitors. Matthews attention to detail and professionalism was superb, I especially appreciate Matthew answering phone calls whenever we felt the need to verbally discuss anything or ask for clarity on certain issues.
We were expecting a baby and moving house simultaneously and our deadline was extremely important to us, Ansons did their best to help us be in before the new arrival.

I found myself needing a family law solicitor during lockdown in late autumn 2020. National and personal restrictions made it a challenge for me to find a solicitor. I liked the look of Ansons website and third time lucky in early 2021 Lisa was able to take my call and follow-up. That day I was feeling particularly downtrodden, upset and shaky. She was incredible - calm, patient, straight-talking and warm. She practically called me straight back confirming a solicitor could represent me.

This turned out to be Mark, who is extraordinary and remarkable. During appointments he came across as both knowledgeable and strong, yet also empathetic and gentle. The best of it was that I was often able to relax enough to find some humour in my situation; a great tonic that came with me out of appointments and calls. I’m actually thinking he may be a magician or a wizard because my heaviness and despair dissolved in a seemingly exquisite and ethereal way!

In essence, Mark was able to simplify and clarify legal processes I found thinking about boring and joyless in such a quick, straightforward practical and light-hearted manner that I didn’t need to give things too much thought. This was extremely helpful and welcome during an unsettled and chaotic time for me.
